Mine was pretty short. My waters were broken at 10:30am. Contractions kicked in at about 12:30 and I had Keeley at 7:50pm and Jake at 7:59pm so about 10hours in all (8 hours actual labour):-)

I've heard that twin labors are usually faster than singletons labors.

I was induced both timesand both my labors lasted exactly the same - 5hrs to the minute
More painful then with my daughter, but went really quick seeing as we had 3-4 people always with us in the room.

It probably depends on a lot of factors...what birth it is for a mom, how they go into labor etc. My twins were born quicker than my first singleton birth, but I wasn't enduced with the twins and was dialated quite a bit when I did go into labor. It's going to take as long as the babies need!

Oh heck! I only had a 6 hour labour with my daughter and that was being induced by having my waters broke!
Good job i'm only 5 mins from the hospital!

My twin birth was amazingly quick!

waters went with no warning at approx 9.20pm, the 1st was delivered at 10.41 and the next at 11.26pm (forceps)!

there was no time for me to be given the epidural as when he arrived, and started going through the risks the consultant said it was too late.

I'm going to try and copy my birth story from another forum then you can have a read.
