Wow congratulations D3borah. Four kids at once, what fun!

I should probably reply to my own thread. Mine stayed in their rear facing seats until they were 12 months old. Twins tend to be slightly smaller than singleton babies (Mine were 5lb 7oz and 5lb 12oz when born) so at 12 months they were 20lbs. That bought me some time and in the interim I would carry one in the car seat and one out of the seat on my hip. That worked really well.

At 12 months Charlotte was walking and Tom is now walking too. They have a set of reins each which is handy for getting them going in the same direction and means I could scoop them up quickly if they fall. Mostly now we all just walk along together hand in hand (slowly!).
