Did you see a specialist?

I was doing some research because I still haven't picked out a doctor. Are you seeing (or was under the care of) a regular ob/gyn or a Perinatologist (high risk pregnancies or multiples specialist)? I am leaning towards seeing a specialist.

The specialists in my area only take referrals from an OB. The specialist told me that twins are not automatically high risk. So, my OB is seeing me and if things turn high risk she will refer me to a specialist.

The consultant at the ACU referred us to a consultant in antenatal who specialised in twins so it was kinda taken out of ours hands, but I was very happy with it.

my doc told me twin pregnancy is considered hi risk so i see an obgyn, who is one of the few who does twins in my area. if i have any problems with my pregnancy she would refer me to someone else. but so far so good!
