You're not meant to take Vitamin A as a supliment but can have Beta Carotene which is a type of vitamin A and normally in pre natal vitamins.

I think Pregnancare is the best known one and now they've included omega 3 in it too but most shop own brand pre natal vitamins are just as good.

Thanks for advice ladies - i got Boots own 'Mum to be Plus' which have Omega 3 which I was worried about as i am a vegetarian and don't eat fish. Mind you I should have looked in the box as they are quite big

i take sainsburys own pregnancy care all in one pre natal i did take omega 3 capsuals but they gave me fishy burps and made me sick!

I guess a lot of supermarkets do good own brand ones. I tried to take omega 3 too but kept forgetting!!

I've done some research on Pre Natal vitamins, I've found a normal good quality womens vitamin has all the needed vitamins as pre natal ones, it even has a few extra. I take Swiss brand womens multi, aswell as my fish oil and EPO. the multi even has the same dose of Folic as my pre natals but at half the price

I take Superdrugs own brand 'Pregnancy Care' which is vitamins, minerals and folic acid. Checked with the doctors when I went originally to sy I was ttc and she gave it the go ahead.

I take Pregnacare, Mumomega and a B12 suppliment

plus vit c as I have a cold!

Once I get my I'll change to Zita West's range for all 3 trimesters.

Right now I'm taking Materna Prenatal vitamins. My doctor told me that one of those has everything that you need, and that you shouldn't take anything else extra on top of that.
