Decided to come off the pill around December 2006, had two 33 day cycles then on the third month tested the day my period was due and test came back negative. It was easter bank holiday weekend so i waited another 4 days as i had convinced myself i was just late and my body was still adjusting to coming off the pill, the test was positive.

Went to GP who advised to book in with the midwife when I was 8 weeks which i did. Was a bit surprised that no-one did a test to confirm that i was pregnant they just relied on what i had told them. Had the usual blood tests etc with the midwife and was sent a date for my scan which should have been 29th May.

24th May started spotting - rung midwife booked in for a scan the following day.

25th May - had scan confirmed i'd had a missed miscarriage.

Will try again so will keep journal updated!

Well it looks like i'm preggers again! Tested today and got a faint positive line (finally!!!!) fingers crossed everything goes ok this time!

Definitely wishing you all the best and a healthy and succesful pregnancy....Do keep us posted.... YAYYYY 4 U!!!

Thanks spoke to the Dr he said as i am so early (only just over 5 weeks) he didn't see the point in referring me for a scan and he would just treat it as a miscarriage. Just said to take a test again in 2 weeks to make sure it comes up negative, i'm pretty sure i've miscarried with it being so early x
