My Story - Bit of an essay (sorry!)

Hi All

We had been trying unsucessfully for a baby for over 5 years, kept putting off going to the doctors as i didnt want to feel like a failure.
We eventually plucked up the courage to go. I was given my blood tests to check that i was ovulating and my hubby was given his little pots (you know what for )
So we went back to the hospital for the results and were told that my hubby didnt have a problem with the count, just that they werent swimming. i was then referred for a further test with yet another consultant, cant remember what it was called but it would have involved being injected with dye to see if i had any blockages.
So there i was lying half naked on the table waiting for this test to be done and the consultant said there isnt any point in doing it as looking at my hubbys results the only way we would get pregnant is to have ivf. so we were put on the waiting list there and then. This was in the february of 2005. we did a bit of research on the internet and this supplement kept coming up (L-carnitine) so we ordered some.
Then in March i found out i was pregnant (naturally) it turns out that this supplement was in the maximuscle my hubby was taking to help him get in shape and we believe that is what helped us to create our little miracle Thomas. But what is more amazing is that, had i had the test he wouldnt be here as i was actually pregnant at the time.

Hope i've not bored you too much

xxxx

But I am confused, if you was already PG when ready for the tests, then did researched not realising this, how did the supplement help you get PG if you was already PG?

We hadnt realised at the time that the supplement was in the maximuscle my hubby was using. he had been using it for a few months hence replenishing his stocks, was only after we found out i was pregnant that we put 2 and 2 together and found this supplement in the maximuscle. We didnt even use the stuff we ordered.

i miss our chats and giggles too hayley
