Ok, Ive been trying a while but only taken it seriously for few months and Im affraid getting more and morer serious, im still waiting to get a positive ov result (let alone bfp ) I have now bought a thermometer and will start charting proper! (thanks to all for great advice)
so I will update when I start taking temps (which lets face it will be straight away cause its a new toy after all ) but untill then I will continue to pee on a stick... XXX

Got my thermometre today so have already began using it, Postie woke me up (just finished another dam night shift ) so thought id go get it and it will be there for when I woke up later on, so im now going to find an online charting site and start recording, so much for waiting untill next cycle

Good luck Laura. I found the charting really helped me feel that I was in control and doing something plus it was really useful when we did go and see the GP and the specialists.

So far so good, I still havent any pos Ov results, although I did have a faint second line today which ive never had before. but I know it still means negative , the temp thing is going ok, apart from when ive been on nights my temp seems to be alot lower i dont know if this is cause i take it around 3 pm, but im sure i will see a pattern when ive done a full cycle,
After charting on the online site it tells me im fertile (even though neg ov tests) which is slightly encouraging, not sure how long into cycle i should keep testing though any advice on this would be great

I think personally I would carry on using the O tests if I did not have a positive x

Have your periods ever varied been later than usual sometimes or anything?

Do you check your CM?

Im due on the 25th and i think it will be here as ive been getting the spots and headaches already, ive stopped using the opk about week ago and been really trying to chart, night shifts went a bit rubbish as first shift i locked my partner out leaving the key in the door so no point trying as id been up, and i just forgot the second night shift, but other then that im good, seems to be quite steady but i havent done a full cycle yet so not sure whats good and whats not.

Im back to that time of month testing with opks, I have been regular 27 day cycle for months, but end of may I was 3 days late (yes I did get mega excited withevery minute that passed showing no af) so you know the disapointment i felt when it got here,... what a b!tch!, After that I lost myself up until yesterday so have been really crap on the temp thing but im back on the ball now, setting myself up all over again, the joys of ttcing
my ticker thingy is out need to re adjust that.
