Dan-o - Journal

Hope you don't mind me posting, im a bit of a newbie here

Im 31, been on BC since 15

No children or pregnancies to date, never had the desire to have babies until I hit 30!!!

Had my implanon out right after my AF (beginning of August 2008 ) been charting BBT and using OPK's since to get a feel for charting a cycle.. as I have no idea what mine is really like?!

I'm told my fertility should return/arrive very quickly as my implanon was a bit late out so the hormone levels were probably low or non exisitant anyway.

Wish me luck!!! xxxx

Had a bit of an LH surge on day 30 of this current cycle, bd'd quite a bit just incase it is my first chance of releasing an egg (probably wishful thinking, ha ha!)

Signed up for ff & filled in the data I collected (brill site!)

According to ff, the wine will have to wait at least another week (or until AF visits) just incase I did, by some miracle, ovulate this month :s

Welcome to Journalling Dan-o!

It's a strange old thing isn't it TTC!
We spend so much of our lives determined not to get pregnant and you'd think it was the easiest most natural thing in the world to do, like you i was on BC for a long time (13years) and i came off in march 08 so far has only visited twice.
the first visit took 81 days, i was on the combined pill and have no experiance with the implant. Some ladies go straight on to a regular cycle for others it takes a little time for the hormones to start producing themselves again having been pumped with synthetic ones for so long.

heres a sprinkle of to wish you luck and hope your stay in the TTC section is short and sweet for all the right reasons.

Thanks so much for that littlestar, you've shed more light on it than my doctor has, lol! I see you are on a similar day to me too, have you ovulated this month to your knowledge? I got an LH surge & temp rise, but who knows for sure?

It's bizarre, I thought i'd never want children when I was a teen & in my early 20's, but now I'm in my 30's (& do want them after all) I'm panicking I've left it too late, lol!

Hopefully things will straighten out a bit in time & become a bit more regular. 81 days must have been a killer! ..Looks like alcohol may be on hold for more than just a few weeks a month.... :S ....noooooo!!

After resigning myself to an extra long cycle, I noticed a tiny speck of blood in my cm last night & again this morning! Think AF is on the way...

i alway knew i would have children just didn't know when, i'm 28 next wednesday (24th Sept) and a would be a fab pressie.

81 days was a killer! but i was away for 2 one week holidays with family during that time too so tbh it flew by.

i think i ovulated last weekend as my CM changed (had EWCM for first time since coming off pill) so hopefully i'm in with a chance - or my cycle is coming to a close and we can start a fresh!

Ohh sounds good! Fingers crossed for you hun xxx

I had 3 days of very very light spotting, which seemed hopeful, but my symptoms have all gone now except some light cramping & feeling tearful (not like me at all) still no AF tho :s

Curiosity got the better of me (being on day 42 & still no AF) so I I did a HPT.. there, lol!

how is CD43 keeping you today?
Hang in there Dan-o it may still be too early to test, i caved in and did one yesterday too and it was also but then someone piped up and stated the obvious if i was only 6dpo (possibly - not confirmed) then it would be as i wouldn't have implanted yet!
and a sprinkle of for a good weekend!
