This forum is a really good idea, actually this site is pretty awsome too. I always used to write in a diary but havn't for ages, because nothing that exciting has happened, but this is a great way to log and look back on TTC'ing. Also a great way to vent any frustrations or excitment.

Anyway, mmmm, where to start. I'm a 26 year old mum of 3. I have a 14 year old step son called Bradley, a 7 year old daughter called Katie and a 4 year old daughter called Lucy. This will be my 3rd baby, 4th all together.

I hadn't been using any contraception for about 6 months and then decided that I was sick of using condoms, bloody passion killers ! (oh, this was before we decided to try for a baby by the way), so i went to the docs to go back on the mini pill. So, all my cycles had been normal, about 28, 29 days up until the pill. I had been taking it for 5 weeks when my Hubby and I decided to try for one more baby. Our last baby as its been made perfectly clear to me ! lol he wants it in writing ! lol

The mini pill has always stopped my periods in the past, and since stopping taking it on Monday 12th I havent had a period, but I'm pretty sure my cycle just picked up as if I had had one, because I'm pretty sure i'm ovulating now, so we're having lots and lots of sex ! he doesnt know whats hit him ! lol.

So, fingers crossed. It would be great to fall in the first month of trying, but I'm trying not to be un-realistic.

ahhh thanks Wobbles, but I mean it, this site is a really good way to chat to other people going through exactly the same thing, whether you are TTC, pregnant or just had a baby. Anyway, enough butt kissing ! lol.

I'm really frustrated with this whole waiting thing ! I remember only 3 months ago thinking the exact opposite, you know, dreading the period because of the pain and inconvienence, but funnily now I just want to get to that time so that I can know one way or the other. I know its extreamly optomistic of me to think that I might fall in my first month of trying, but whats the point of being pessimistic, I'd be grumpy all the time and thats no fun.

Oh well, just a week left. Because I haven't had a period since coming off the mini pill, which means my cycle this month could be a bit squiffy, I'm going to leave it until Monday or tuesday of next week before I test. I do have some early tests, but lets face it, they are expensive and I should probably give my body a couple of extra days to go back to normality.

Well, I'm due on tomorrow ! arghhhh !!!!

I've had no pre-menstrual pain as yet, and I normally do. I normally have a dull back ache a few days before I come on, thats how I know its coming. I've also had chronic heartburn for the last 3 days, which I've only ever had before during pregnancy. But I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up and set myself up for a hard bump back to reality.

Wish me luck, i'm going to try and hold out till weds or thurs before I test, but can't promise that ! lol.

Well I couldn't wait until weds/thurs to test, but I really didnt expect to either ! I have no patience whatsoever ! lol. I'm not sure why I even tested because this morning I woke up with a tummy ache and dull lower back pain, but couldn't resist. Silly I know. I was kind of expecting what I got though, a BFN .

Not to worry, my period will start in a few days and once thats over with I can start again. At least I'll have some proper dates to go by once I've had a period. Although I'm positive I did ovulate this month, this will be my first period since coming off the mini pill.
