Just thought I would add to the list of TTC journals.
BACKGROUND
I am 24 next month and I have been married for 3 years (next month).
We have been TTC #1 since Sept 05.
We waited a 16 months before going to the doctors, I had blood tests which showed high progesterone and was sent for a pelvic U/S. This showed I had PCOS. O/H had sperm analysis which should mid-low mobility around 40%.
We were reffered to the fertility clinic and waited around 4 months for an appointment. 1st appointment waste of time. Needed another anaylsis on O/H to compare, Done that (2nd appointment - said they had lost the results - needed to do another). Done that - 3rd Appointment October 2007 I was prescribed Metformin and to come back in 4 months. Metformin made me feel really crappy for the first 6 or so weeks but then improved. Periods regulised (weren't really that bad - 1 in 3 were over 40 days the rest 29-33 days. But no .
Went back February 2008 and was prescribed 4 cycles of Clomid and HGC injection. Again no , but was told possibly fertilisation on 2nd try but did not stick.
Present Day
Went for follow up appointment on Wednesday and they are now recommending IUI which was good news. Before that O/H needs another anaylisis and I need to have dye & x-ray (was worried about having to have a Lap, so happy with this). So at the mo waiting for these appointments.

I do have one question if anyone could help me?? I was taking Comid previously and yet I have not been told that I will be taking this during the IUI, will they give me this before it starts once they have the results back or am I going natural??
Will let you know more in due course.

Also since been off clomid I stopped taking the metformin to give my body a break and glad to see things are pretty regular. Been going for the natural approach this month and should have a result any day now! Come on . If not going for Sperm meets Egg plan next month before the IUI starts!!

So its been a little while since I added anything.
I am now currently at CD 29 or 30 forgot to mark CD1 this time whoops. Still haven't done a test but might do tomorrow if doesn't show up over night (which is not unusual). Not feeling too positive about it though except my boobs feel like they have been punched by Mike Tyson!!

Going to a BBQ this afternoon so looking forward to gorging myself. I have enjoyed the gorgeous weather this weekend by dealing with the jungle that are my gardens - defo won't leave it so long in the future - i swear the grass was taller than my dog!!

Well I will update more when I know more.
