I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey all, just wanted to add my experience about...Clomid.
Well actually, it was my sister.
She never had regular periods and after she got married, she found it tough to concieve, so she went on clomid. After about 3 months she got pregnant. 12 weeks later she found out she was having....TWINS! (boy and girl, now 6 1/2 yrs old) She knew it as a possability, but her hubby is a twin and in every generation of his familty, every second of ours, so she wasnt shocked!
Then...
Once the twins were born the docs told her that if she came off the clomid she wouldnt be able to get pregnant again. But to my sis - she had her family and came off the clomid and even went back on the pill to make sure...
9 months later...
She was pregnant. Turns out the clomid she did have to get pregnant with the twins, made her super furtile dispite the problems she had had all her adult life.
And...
She became pregnant with TWINS again!...However, miscarried one at about 8/9 weeks, but the other survived and was very healthy.
So... When the twins were 14 months she had a beautiful baby boy.
1 and a half year later, she went on to have another little girl (now 3yrs old), naturally with out any furtility support.
So there you go! I know its different for all, but thats her story.Good luck with your journey! x x |
