I'm Currently Feeling:

Didn't get chance to get online over the weekend, as was in fancy London town. Our host did offer use of his laptop, but I didn't think traces of BnB on his system would thrill him that much!!

Ended up running around like a blue ar$ed fly on Friday for OH so no BD'ing. And I really was.....sat for several hours in car heading to London from Brum, via Leicestershire, with a right face on me because OH wouldn't let me BD. Even sat in the carpark of Morrisons and penned a very angry post in Word with intentions of copy and paste. Calmed down a bit when we got to London.....but still no BD

Couldn't get any on Saturday, and was very peeved that this months OV was going by the wayside.

Also was starting to get a little concerned, although getting OV signs (few stomach twinges, increase in temp) there was no EWCM. CP seems a little higher, but now I'm worried that it's not and I'm imagining it. Very confused.

Finally jumped on OH on Sunday and got one in....so that would have been CD14....all good. But then imagine to add to my raging hormones this morning OH decided that starting work was more important than us and our TTC.
OK maybe a little extreme, but he had to get to work, and I was pulling a face!!

So today CD15 and feel rubbish. This should be my exciting time, all loved up and BD'ing, and I'm driving myself nuts. Constantly looking for signs of OV and feeling like I'm missing them. Is there something wrong with me, I keep worrying that I've stopped OV'ing, that it's never going to happen.

OH seems to think that it'll all happen ok, if it's meant to be and all that. He doesn't realise how hard it is to try and get everything timed right for a small window (small window that I don't even know I've got). It's amazing how when we do get down to the BD, it can change my mood instantly. From being miserable and confused, straight to happy and estatic. Is this normal, keep thinking that this amount of hormones at this time can't be right...or is it psychosymatic and I'm doing this to myself. God I feel rubbish today and I've rambled...thank goodness BnB's here.

Think I'll go read some happy stories.

Hi there nicnak

I've just been catching up with your journall and I must say it's a very good read!

We are are nearly cycle buddies (I am on CD14 today) so we will be able to keep each other company in the dreaded TWW

I'm also on the look out for Ov signs, but I don't think it's happened for me yet either this month, which is excellent cause - due to me nearly poisioning DB and I over the weekend (see my journal ) - we didn't get much in the way of BD'ing in I'm afraid.

Anyway, I'm sorry for taking over your journal! I'll just drop off some baby dust and I'll be on my way

Love TT's

OH must have felt sorry for me and my frowny face. Got to BD, but for first time ever it didn't help.
Mood didn't improve and I almost cried during. (Thank god for BnB, because if that's not a way to kill the mood, I don't know what is.)
Not feeling like OV'ing in the slightest. No EWCM, only creamy milky stuff (sorry TMI), but gathering info from other threads, that's not fertile. Which is what I'm thinking about me in general. I remember having the EWCM a couple of cycles ago. Last month, must admit that around OV time, had more symptoms, can't remember the EW, but was so excited around that time (again, TMI, apologies), I thought it had all disappeared/mixed in with that.
Scared to go to the doctors, just in case.
Thought this journal would help me decipher through the symptoms that I go through and try to read into each cycle, don't remember feeling like this. Scared it's a sign of something else.

NicNac: your OH sounds so like my DH!!
Why oh why do they insist on thinking that BDing at completely the wrong time is going to get us a ??????
He keeps telling me that women have been getting pregnant for 100s of years without trying. But he doesn't count on the fact that most of those women probably were timing and testing just as much as we are. Either that or it was the 1600s when men demanded their marital rights every night from their women unless they were already PG!
On the CM thing: do you use OPKs? maybe sometimes you aren't OVing or are OVing later. I had this issue and using OPKs has helped me to pinpoint exactly when it was happening, CM or no CM.

Hey there Niki.....was missing ya girl!!

Thank you, cos the first time today I smiled (ok had to put on smile earlier for BD purposes),
Yes very true, little did the men realise the plotting & sneaking our Victorian, Edwardian, Georgian sisters were getting up to. I'm sure they were sneakier, didn't they discover oysters and herbs as aphrodisiacs? To coin the phrase "a way to the heart is through the stomach!" 100% thought up by women. See they had their TTC secrets even then. Bloomin men - they think they thought of it all by themselves!!

In your post you said about pinpointing OV, CM or no CM. So it's till possible to catch? I may sound like an inexperienced teen here, but it could still happen even without?

If you've not yet OVed then you could still do so this month, so worth keeping trying for a while. I don't think the CM is quite so essential. It sometimes stays all up inside us and doesn't really come out where it's noticeable, so may be there, but not falling out everywhere. (Sorry for graphic image).
OPKs will tell you for sure when your LH surge happens so you'll know when best BDing time is and when it's sadly too late for the month. They cleared up a lot of the "Not knowing" factor for me, and let me know when I could stop pestering poor DH for a while.
Yes give me a good old-fashioned husband who wants his rights every night and can be bought with oysters and herbs anyday!!!! 21st century ones who work long hours, travel on the Underground long hours and then play on their playstation for long hours until they are too tired for anything else really are NO GOOD for us ladies!!! It's not that I'm exactly sex-mad myself: far from it, but I just want a baby!!!!

With you on that one...OH is amazed how crazed I can be over a couple of weeks a month, then just like "sex, what now??", bless him he understands though!!

I'm an X-box 360 widow myself, but found it came in handy once. Conversation went something like this...
"You come to bed with me now, and then I'll show you where I hid the wireless controller!!!" That or just take the batteries out (that was more just for my amusement!)

Hope you're looking forward to summer break.

Nicnac I was having the same worries about OV as I don't seem to have EWCM and had only started temping a few days ago but my OPKs have shown a VERY faint line and I feel so much more relaxed now. I know it means nothing for pregnancy but just to be reassured I am ovulating helps. Have you tried the OPKs?

Hi Krissi

Have done them in the past, but found the timing never worked for me. Tried one on Friday, but ....think the rest of them are at home and I'm homeless lviving at Ma's for short term.

Might pop out to chemist and see what I can find!!!!

Definitely going to get organised for next cycle (unless by some strange occurance it's )

to all

Well think I'm finally OV'ing.....CP is definitely up!!!

Tried for a BD this morning as OH had a late start this morning. I say tried, cos the wimp screamed (yes that technically makes him a girl!) that I had cold hands. Not one to be put off, I warmed hands and gave it another go. I got beaten by the works mobile (I hate technology). Even tried yesterdays frowny face...but think I may have over used that one. So did what any self respecting girl would do..........walked into bathroom, turned on taps...and cried.

He's late home tonight, so no doubt it will be "I'm too tired" later. Too tired? My word, does he not know what we go through every month, tiring does not cover it, my friend.

Have a horrible feeling that I may have to chalk this month up to experience...I say that...I'm not even 1DPO (think I may be O today), but just get that feeling.

Guess it's going to be a long 2WW.
