I'm Currently Feeling: | Krissi getting more impatient TTC journal Hi my name is Krissi. I am hoping this journal will keep me sane as nothing else seems to help!!
I started ttc on 05/06. My periods are pretty exact to the 28 days so when I was 4 days late I was so excited but it wasn't meant to be this time as I came on my period on 26/06. I had tested two days before and got so I knew I wasn't but you still hope I guess!! Would have been pretty lucky to have fallen that quickly I know but I guess as we all know the heart can over rule the head in these matters. Didn't expect to be so upset but was very tearful which is very unlike me. The OH is now dreading my next period!! Not as much as me!!
So I took my Clomid like a good girl and I am now back in the mindset of try again!!
Feel much more positive this month. I bought some early pregnancy sets through ebay for the bargain price of £2.65 so am armed and ready to test in a few weeks.
Fingers crossed!! Speak soon xx

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Krissi,
I too joined the BnB word today as a TTC'er. Nice to see there's another newbie out there!!
Sounds like we're in similar boats at the mo. We have been TTC for about 12mths, and I have had a couple of late ones where in my head I was convinced it was a YES, but the body and the tests said NO and then when Flo did arrive so did the Niagra of all tears.
Well done for the giving up the ciggies, it can be hard to convince yourself when there isn't a baby on the way, but it really does improve the chances.
Best of luck girl, speak soon | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | The hardest bit for me is to trying to understand about fertile days!! Its not something I have had to consider before and CM!! You need a medical degree lol!! But I have now ordered my OV tests so hopefully will get them in next few days. At least in this stage there is something to keep you motivated everyday, its the wait after ovulation which drags!! Must take up a hobby for those two weeks!! Any ideas!! Lol!! The OH thinks more practise is the key.... yeah right, nice try!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Quite embarrasingly, it took me a a couple of months to work out fertile days! If you Google "ovulation calendar", there's a few sites that will calculate your next few months worth of dates based on date of last perioid, luetal phase (may need the med degree for that one!), and some will offer dates for whether boy or girl is wanted (who are we kidding - either would be fab!!)
Yes, I hate the days past OV. Worse thing is I can feel everything going on inside, and every cramp, twinge, tingle, nausicous feeling sends my hopes soaring.
If you do find a hobby that takes your mind away from TTC, please let me know!! Have been looking for one for a while!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Think I have lost the plot today!! Its DH's birthday so woke in a chirpy mood, started doing a little rain dance type thing chanting I want a Baby for April!! Who knows will try anything once!! DH has now declared me insane!!
Got my OV kits this morning so was very excited to be able to keep an eye out for that little egg. Tested this morning and it was negative. Still have to try and understand the process!!
Last night the OH and I and we thought we came up with a master plan to make sure not even one little escaped. So we thought put a tampon in, that will stop the little buggers retreating. So we both sat there very smug until about half an hour later I thought, hmmm tampons are absorbant so I have just completely buggered that up and probably sucked every little back out!! So my child probably won't be blessed with brains!! Back to the drawing board..... |
