I'm Currently Feeling: | HI hun. Do you think it is a boy thing? my ds is 2 1/2 now and up until about 3 months ago was only saying about 10 words. He is saying more now and chats constantly - sometimes you can understand him but other times you have to pick out the odd word and try and work it out. I was getting really worried about him also but health visitor said he would catch up. I changed his nursery and lo and behold he has started talking. They were watching tv at the other one!! don't get me started. Someone told me that so long as they understand what you are saying to them it is nothing to worry about. I know it is hard - I was getting realyl stressed about it all......however, down side is that now he is talking he comes into my room in a morning and says "mummy up now. coco pops for me please. NOW" - now as cute as that sounds. Sometimes not so cute at 4.30am!!!!!!!!!!
he'll be fine.
I meant to say how jealous i am of you going to do your midwife course - i wish i could afford to go back to uni and do that instead of my stupid english degree that has got me nowhere!! i wish i could've known what i know now when i was 18!! |

He does understand me when i say stuff. And just like your LO since he changed Pre-school, he has came on leaps, he really loves it there. So i'll see how that goes, i tryed him again with reading a book and he stood for the whole book reading with me and when i pointed at stuff he copyed what i was doing and saying it, am well proud. She said he's abit behind but i know he will catch up, but she doesn't know if that is down to him not speaking, which i think it is. We will have to wait and see.
Do u mean u couldn't afford the course, or is it money you need ? As midwifery course is free, you don't pay anything as the NHS pays for your fee's and bursary, the only thing you would have to pay back is if you got a student loan out. at the coco pops, it is cute lol |

I hope he is ok hun - i know how worrying it is. Let me know how you get on.
as for the course - it is the fact taht I wouldn't get paid for 3 years...i really wish we could afford to do it. OH said we would move to a smaller house so that we could afford for me to go and do it. not sure if i would just feel too guilty uprouting us all just for me to go and do the course. plus at the moment we would have no chance of selling our house anyway. we will see. I think i would have to do a science a level too....mine are in english, french and history (and general studies but i dont count that one!) so think i would need to do human biology or sociology or some other ology!!! might just get that done in september and then see where we are at. a psychic told me i should do it - but then again he also told me that I would come into some money and move to a farmhouse with land and horses!!
where are you going to study it hun? have you looked into the bursarys etc? |

Here's the Bursary calcuator: http://www.nhspa.gov.uk/sgu/bursaryc...or/default.asp
You can work out how much you would get.
Am getting about £10838.00 a year which is not bad, plus on top of that student loans if i need too.
Am going to apply to as many as i can, even as far as Kent, i don't care if i have to travel 3 hours, it really does eat away at me.
And the way i think about it, yes i'll struggle for abit but i'll be doing something i love and once i become a midwife i will start off with £20,000 a year and it goes up by how many years you work, and it will be well worth it. I couldn't imagine doing anything than being a midwife.
I can give you loads of things to look at if you want. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hello Haven't dropped by to see you for a while and decided it was time to catch up. I have three things to say:
1) Sorry about the infection - what a drag!
2) You're not being at all selfish - at all!
3)
Well, technically number 3) wasn't 'saying' anything, but you get my drift! |

| Kerryanne: wow, you've really been put through the wringer for the last little while. For a few days back, I thought that you must be P. I'm so sad to hear that it's an infection. Put your energy into taking care of that right now so that it hopefully won't come back again. Don't stress yourself and your body out too much.
And, I totally agree with what everyone else has said: you should not feel at all guilty for anything. Especially not about TTC #3. I'm TTC #1 but I can imagine that it's just as heart-wrenching to TTC #2 and #3, especially because this is really #1 for your DH. Take care of yourself Kerryanne... get lots of rest and get DH to do the "heavy lifting"! |

Take care of yourself Kerryanne... get lots of rest and get DH to do the "heavy lifting"! | Thanks very much, it really does feel ttc #1 for me also, i know that sounds werid, maybe i am werid, but it will be like being pregnant for the first time all over again, i truely had a awful pregnancy with both boys, ds1, i was so ill i couldn't move from my bed and couldn't hold anything down, then ex left me because i won't let him play with his playstation in the room (I did say in the living room) and he walked out on me i was 3 months at the time, he did come back (Well i let him back i didn't want to do it on my own) he then lefted his very good job, because he couldn't be bothered with it anymore, and didn't have a job up until 2 weeks before ds1 was born. During that time i got my own flat and thats when he was being nice, my brother begged me not to go back to him, but me being me and a big softy i said yes we give it a go.
Ds2 I was ill and a nerves wreck with being pregnant, plus we were moving alot, due to our house being burnt down (Long story) Ex wasn't that into me when i was pregnant didn't do the usually guy thing, which was very upsetting, he said it was down to the fact he didn't want to bond cause he felt something was going to go wrong. Then my birth was the most awful time of my life Oh and he lefted his other job again also when i was 8 months pregnant, and just did agent work, god when i talk about it, i keep thinking i must have been MAD to be with him, he was such a loser, no wonder my brothers hated him (They were always nice to him when he was with them etc)
Anyway, so i feel am doing it right this time, am with someone I love (First time ) and i know he would never do any of that, am so excited about getting pregnant now and how great its going to be. Does this make sense.
But i also feel like why should i get so upset etc when there is people out there who is TTC #1 and i have two wonderful boys.
take care
xxxxxx
P.s does anyone know anything about moons, because its a new moon tonight and i have been feeling so horny it was really bad, i know i have a high sex drive, but this was like all i could think about. just wondering if anyone else had the same thing. |

On the moons thing: moons do really affect our fertility. Apparently the best scenario is if you are OVing at Full Moon and AFing at New Moon. I've noticed that my post MC cycle has worked out exactly like that so I'm pleased, but I'm sure any energy from the moon is good for us. It's meant to be great if you can get away from cities and modern stuff like electrical currents etc which mess with moon energy. I'm thinking I might take OH off down to my parents in the sticks in Wales at some point for a bit of TTC. Only problem then would be the BDing at Mum and Dad's!!
