Well I thought I would start my own ttc journal instead of reading everyone elses.

My name is Emma, I am 27 and work as a nurse in the operating theatres. I stay in Edinburgh, Scotland with my fiance Stuart who is 32 and also our little shelled baby Toby tortoise who is almost 4! Stuart and I get married in September 2008 and decided to start ttc in June, although towards the end of May we stopped used contraception. I have never been on bcp, always used condoms. To the best of our knowledge there is nothing we know of preventing us concieving, but only time will tell I guess.

Over the past few months I have been eating healthier, excersising and loosing weight. I dont smoke or drink. I have been taking multi-vitamins and folic acid for the past four months. Stuart has been eating healthier, excersising and lost some weight, doesnt smoke, drinks very occasionally and has been taking a zinc supplement for a month now.

I have been charting from mid-May on FF, so check out my chart!!

Just to say I am currently waiting for AF to appear after having spotting and stomache cramping for the last four days...my body is rebelling

I am going to try not to get over excited and symptom spot ths cycle. As even though we missed ovulation in May I seemed to drivemyself insane with the what ifs and does this means....

So am chilling and charting...and praying for our miricle!

I hope your positive isnt too far off for you. Having read your journal you have been through alot. Its surely your turn!

I have had a pretty rough ride but I have learned to stay positive even if it's not going so well. It does help to look forward.

Well still no sign of

yet....

But I definately dont think I am pregnant....I havent tested as I guess its a waste of money and test since I have had spotting the last five days, way past implantation bleeding. My temp also came down today.

So now I just have to wait and hope she shows soon so we can get on ttc in our June cycle, and hope we dont miss our ovulation!!!

I think my cycle is messed up this month and the last few months due to stress(typical) of wedding and H2B selling his flat. Plus with my uncle's death I have been a bit emotional. Tomorrow is his funeral(almost two weeks after his death!) so this shall hopefully bring closure for me. I must say I dont feel stressed by wedding(its all done and we have been saving well for this) the flat isnt selling due to the recent housing market but we still have a roof over our head, all be it I hate livign in the middle of the city and DO NOT want to raise our child here(when we do finally concieve) but as I said its a roof.

Anyway I am off to bed....dreaming of

coming so we can get on trying!!
