Well here goes!! Thought I would give this journal malarky a bash, might stop me boring the other half to death with conception talk every night!!!

Little bit about me first I guess...I'm 28 and live in Scotland (Glenrothes). Me and my DH have been together 9 1/2 years, living together 8 years and married 2 years. We met and fell in love over the mac sauce while working our way through uni at McDs!
DH is an accountant (but is totally not boring I assure you!!) and I have an honours degree in Chemistry but am taking a break from working right now. We are just back from a 6 month working holiday in New Zealand, an amazing country. We had the time of our life their but came back as we were both feeling extremely broody and wanted to get settled and try for a family.

I was on bcp for 9 years for medical reasons (ovranette) and came off in February. I had my withdrawal bleed immediately then had to wait an agonising 60 days for my first non bcp visit.
My last cycle after that one was 39 days....so getting better!!!

I am now on CD02 and counting the days until I can have a go at Round 3 of TTC!!!

I'm just back from Boots where I bought a thermometer as I figure that if my cycle is going to be erratic then I should try keeping tabs on it best I can!


CD : 02

Mood : ....weird I know given what day it is but not really feeling all that bad today!

General : slight crampiness in lower back and stomach. When on bcp pain was more pronounced and I also would be bloated and have swollen boobs.....last couple of cycles I haven't realised the was coming until i've gone to the loo!!! Although mid cycle (days 30ish for me and my uber cycles) I would have crampiness in stomach, back and legs and thought she was coming but nothing showed up!


Ah well, heres hoping for a this month!

I'm 27 been trying for over two years diagnosed with mild PCO'S been told to shift some weight and come back in August to take clomid and see if that helps me to ovulate, so far iv managed to lose two stone so I'm chuffed with myself but I'm totally desperate to get that extra line on the preg test it would be a dream come true!! good luckand welcome to the site!

Not much to report as i'm so early in my cycle right now, hopefully this will be the month that does his job!! Got my wedding anniversary in two weeks time and its DH's bday so should be plenty of opportunities for the

Been recording my temps the last couple of days although I was about to take the thermometer back as it is supposed to "beep" when the temperature is recorded. Well as far as I was concerned mine wasn't beeping and therefor was faulty untill my DH pointed out that it is a very faint beep that someone who is as deaf as a doornail isn't likely to hear!! (I wear a hearing aid in one ear but even I forget sometimes that i'm aurally challenged!!! )

Yay - a new chart to stalk. U'll notice when u've OV'd hun - ur temps will go a bit higher and then FF will put ur crosshairs on. Hope it helps u get ur BFP
