Thought I should start one of these now as things are moving ahead at a fast pace for us now.

Brief history

We've been trying since March 2006 for a child together.

Me - 35 in June - dd 16 ds 13, previous marriage, termination in 1995, Depo shots x 2 in 2005/2006
dx Iris Melanoma Dec 2007 - Radiation Therapy ( Proton Beam) March 2008 - all looking positive.

Hubby - 36, no children, dx Epilepsy summer 2007, on Carbamazapine for life.

Investigations so far -

Me -
basic blood work
internal scan
day 21 ( 28 due to cycle) - all 2007
HSG - May 2008
Pelvic Infection resulting from HSG Augmentin prescribed
Next appointment June 3rd 2008

Hubby -
semen analysis summer 2007 - "normal"
repeat SA due to Anti Epileptic Drugs ( aed's) - results due 22nd May 2008


So I hope you'll all help me stay sane, it's been a long time already and still potentially a long time ahead of us.

Had such high hopes for a after last cycle's HSG and then all the twinges and cramps and such I had all last week, noly to find it was due to an infection

Should have known to not get my hopes up, but very hard not to when everyone says that most women fall PG after having tubes flushed

Woke this morning with that sicky feeling in my stomach and jsut new when I got up, I would have started, lo and behold was there when i wiped.

Went back to bed for a sulk and cos I was cramping yet again, but really rather strongly. It's been like that on and off all day, and now typing this is as bad as it's been all day.

Bright red blood when I wipe but hardly staining a pad. That's weird.

anyway just looked over my new chart to see when O will be ( ish - only ever temped one full cycle, but going to dig out my thermom and get onto it again) and when or will be - my birthday!! Is that a good omen or just another cruel twist?

I'm away to take my next anti biotic and more paracetamol ( can't find my nurofen!)

I am new to this site. I was using google when I found this website and found it interesting, so I signed up right away!! My boyfriend & I talked about getting pregnant and I agreed. I am a bit scared cause this will be my first. Can anyone just share with me what it is like to be pregnant, because I have not 1 clue :-)!! Is it fun? Is it stressful?...tell me something, ANYTHING!! Thanx!!

by buying a bloody 3 in 1 combi thats how!!

( I'm a childminder and justifying it as for the business, yeah who am I kidding!!)
