Fifty flipping seven? No wonder I can't get pregnant! My eggs are 57!!!!

Hold on a second, and her eggs were made in her mom and her mom's.... oh stop! My eggs are nearly 30 and that's bad enough in itself!

Hi ladies,

You're keeping a big grin on my face. You're such an amusing bunch! Okay, I'll stop apologizing.

Have I been BDing too early for the last four months??

Hi ladies (if anyone's reading),

I read Nat's journal today and suddenly panicked, as I read about ovulation pains.

During my last two cycles, I would feel a "pulling" sensation, deep in my innards, around the area of the right side of my abdomen, close to my right pelvic bone. This symptom would occur a few days after the date that I (and FF) pinned as the ovulation date (I use my BBT rise and change in CM to pin ovulation).

At first, I got excited, thinking this pulling sensation was an early pregnancy symptom but then AF would come soon after. So, after experiencing the same thing for two cycles, I started thinking the pulling sensation must be some kind of post-ovulation or pre-menstruation symptom (I've never noticed it before these last two cycles).

Anyway... now I'm reading others saying that this symptom is likely what you'd feel WHILE you're ovulating. That REALLY worries me because it means that I and FF have been pinning ovulation way too early and I've been BDing at the wrong time for the last 4 months.

What do you think??

If you have a fairly regular 27/28 day cycle then i would be BDing from about CD11 through to CD 15!

But it seems from your last cycle that you OV on about CD17??

I would have thought sooner! About CD13 where there was a rise!

Ooooh that's a tricky chart - glad that wasn't in the FF test!

I think FF is putting your ov on cd17 cos your EWCM lasts till then, then dries. However, as Nat says, CD17 is a tad late (but not lots late) for a 28 day cycle, and your temps do rise around CD13 too, which is a bit more text-book. You've also got two 36.3 pre-ov temps which might affect your coverline- any chance they are off by a small fraction?

As for the Ov pain - it's not something I experience (tho i keep looking for it LOL) but i have read that it can occur before, during or after Ov (or not at all) so you can't really pin anything down by it.

Do you do anything else to help pinpoint ov (OPKs)? My EWCM seems to arrive at the wrong cycle point (like today for instance CD10!) and that seems to confuddle FF too.

Nat, thanks for checking in to my lil' old journal here! Your journal is a hoppin', busy place... means a lot that you'd take time out for me!

I re-did my FF chart to include BD data. As you can see, DH gets really happy when it's close to Ov but gets little to none any other time! Poor sweet husband of mine! (He's so wonderful about "performing" on demand too... what a trooper!)

Yeah, FF messes up my brain sometimes... I felt that it could have been earlier too... I was thinking more around CD14 because there was a rise there too, with a dip just prior.
