Hello dearies! How are you all doing? I'm continuing on that path of a more casual TTC journey. As I last wrote in here, I've begun letting a lot of things go. Now that I'm 5 days into a new cycle (number 9), I'm letting even more go. Last cycle, the big thing was to do less BDing and also to relax on the temping. This cycle, I haven't temped at all and my prenatal vitamin intake has also been very lax. (This coming from a gal who temps with TWO thermos every morning!) I won't start temping until around CD 10, to get a feel for my pre- and post-Ov temps, so I know that I've Ov'd. Next cycle, I just may put the thermos away for good! Never thought I'd see the day when I'd even CONSIDER that!

I've taken a new path in my career which has kept me busy, stimulated and invigorated. It was perfect timing because my first day in the new job was the first day of my new cycle. A fresh start all around. The job kept me from getting too disappointed at the arrival of AF. AF herself was quite kind too... she began with a very light flow for the entire first day (which is very unusual) and wasn't accompanied by any cramps or fatigue. And boy did I need to be let down gently this time. I was having all kinds of crazy symptoms that last TWW (constant mild nausea, dizziness, extreme fatigue, wierd cravings, getting hungry soon after eating large meals, and of course, that "implantation dip") and by the end of the TWW I was quite convinced that that cycle was very promising.

I'm not giving up on being able to conceive... not yet, at least. But, I feel I'm getting dangerously close to a place where, I'd feel at peace if I cannot conceive naturally. Well... I still have another 4 cycles to try before I am officially considered "having trouble conceiving". Let's see what the rest of 2008 brings for me...

Hiya Cloudy! Sorry she got you again the old meanie! Stop those negative thoughts right now hun - of course you are going to conceive! Even if it does take a little while, or even if it takes some medication for some reason, of course it IS going to happen! THere is absolutely no reason at this stage to even start entertaining those thoughts! There are ladies on here who have got there bfp's after three years or more!

Hi Cloudy sorry the old hag got you but your new job sounds fantastic. I'm sure that taking it easy is doing you, your body and your relationship the world of good and you will get your and there is nothing to suggest as yet that you can't do it naturally. You still have everything going for you and no matter what lies ahead for you in your future with TTC, so long as you remain strong and happy, you will get the family you so rightly deserve!

Could this finally be it?

Hi gals,

Well! I couldn't stay away any longer after this morning's developments! I've been very lax about temping, checking CM and BDing this cycle (as documented in my very spotty FF chart!) Based on FF's calculations, I got the BDing waaaaay off this cycle. (Personally, I think I O'd on CD 15 or 16, which makes the BD timing look far better!) Until yesterday, I was 100% sure that this cycle was a write off. I've had no significant symptoms at all too.

I've had a bit of spotting since CD 29 and a got some cramping CD 31 and 32. Since CD 31, I've been wearing a pad daily, fully expecting AF to arrive. Then, all of yesterday, I had no more signs of spotting and by the evening AF still hadn't arrived. I realized that, even according to FF's calculated O date, AF would be 1 day late by this morning. According to my calculations, AF is 2 - 4 days late, relative to my usual luteal phase lengths.

This morning, AF STILL isn't here AND I bit the bullet and temped. It read a fairly high 36.64 even though I temped earlier than usual (4:45 vs 5:30 am). Usually, by 13 DPO, my temp starts taking a dip so getting a higher temp at 15 DPO is highly unusual. I'm holding out for one more morning's temp before I test. Tomorrow morning, my temp will have stayed high for 3 mornings longer than my longest luteal phase, which could mean I'm FINALLY PREGNANT!!!

I haven't had ANY significant symptoms. Some of the ambiguous/mild symptoms I've had:

- (sorry if TMI) REALLY bad constipation on CD 31
- crampiness
- been a bit more tired and constantly hungry than usual (but could be because I've been working such long hours)
- wiped a small bit of creamy CM this morning

And that's pretty much it! Nothing else that I haven't already experienced before during cycles... and even then, I've only had one or two of those symptoms (e.g. mild nausea).

It was SOOO HARD not to do a test this morning but DH really wanted me to wait one more day. He doesn't like seeing me get my hopes up.

ANYWAY... what do you gals think? Could this be THE cycle?

Hi jacqui! If temps are still up tomorrow morning, noone's going to be able to tear that HPT out of my hands!!! I'll even use my more-expensive First Response HPT rather than my drugstore cheapies!

Oh Cloudy I really hope this is it for you!!!

High Temps sound really promising and the fact that you are late even by your usual cycles is also a really good sign too!!

Can't wait to see your test result tomorrow!!!
