SJ: Thanks for posting that great info! I'd read those stats before in a few books but seeing them again really helped. I'd never heard about the 7 month average either... that PDF document was very interesting!

I'm sorry my attendance on BnB has been spotty lately. Not much to report on since AF came so not motivated to get on. Also been very busy with the ongoing housework... been tackling the mess for more than a week now and I JUST made a dent. Anyway, off I go to your journals to do some catching up!

Oh yeah... just one thing to report: my body's back to last cycle's wiieeerd pre-Ov flat temps again. What the??

Cloudy - re the housework- don't bother! Much better plan is wait till you get your (ie in about 4 weeks), then put your feet up and tell your OH, mum, whoever to do it for you cos you're pg and can't over-exert yourself!

YaYa, Celine, Magic, SJ and TT: aww, thanks gals, for checking in on me! It means so much to me and I really do miss you all. Something's been pulling me away from BnB. Don't know what it is... I've been getting mildly anxious feelings whenever I think about logging on to BnB. I'm beginning to think it might be a defense mechanism, trying to buffer and protect myself from getting my hopes up too high again this cycle. I've been keeping myself really busy with small home repairs and reno's and going out to enjoy the wonderful summer weather with friends and family - I haven't really been thinking about TTC for the last two weeks. But, now that I'm smack dab in the middle of my BDathon for this cycle, I'm finding it hard to get my mind off TTC.

I've been reading a really informative book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It doesn't have much info that I haven't already learned about my body and fertility/TTC but it's the best, most detailed book I've come across so far on the subject. It's giving me bits of new understanding as I work my way through the book. Unfortunately, it's also introducing big worries in my mind. The biggest one is that Weschler advises that if a couple has been TTC diligently (i.e. charting, BDing at the right time) for 4-6 months and still haven't conceived, they shouldn't have to wait a full precious year to get help/advice from a specialist. So, I'm going to see my doctor this week for her advice and to get DH to finally get a sperm test.

Oops... gotta go... gotta get some BDing in!! Don't want DH to see this post!!
