Okay, to keep myself amused and informed, I posted this new thread: EWCM versus "love juice". Any input?

Hey thought i would post here since i was in here first

Isn't "love juice" not so stretchy(i don't think its even stretchy at all, maybe for different women it is), it is watery and clear like ewcm, thats how i could tell the differents. Oh now am all confused, because when ever i check for ewcm, its never there, well how it described to be but i do get clear and watery cm through my cycle but not stretchy, so am thinking its not ewcm, would this be ewcm ??, maybe some ewcm is like that. Or just me aroused then . mmmmm....... you have really got me thinking now. should i really be thinking this at 6:20am

Lets see what other people put down, then maybe its the same for some people also.

Glad to see you in a more positive frame of mind. If our bodies are going to get funky on us, theres not much we can do but go along for the ride!
If you did ov on cd 15 like miel suggests then it is possible that todays dip is implantation isn't it?? I hope so anyway, would be good if one of us with a dodgy cycle this month comes up with a to give us all hope!

Cloudy I think you are going to see a big rise tomorrow - that kind of dip is common just before ov as you have a lot of estrogen. Keeping my fingers crossed hun!

kerryanne, I found it very amusing to follow your "think aloud"! I think you're on the right track that arousal fluid is more watery. And, as someone else said in that thread, everyone's different, so it's possible that your EWCM is more watery than someone else's. However, FF does have a category specifically for "EWCM" and for "Watery CM" so I guess both do exist and are different?? (To add more confusion to the mix!)

SJ: "bodies get funky on us" That was hilarious! Thanks for the chuckle, funny gal! Thanks for havin' a look at my chart and offering your analysis. I'm really not sure what to make of it. (I'll post a separate post to share what I think of today's developments!) He he... girl, if I get a from this cycle, I will be sharing this chart around ALL of BnB! "LOOK, LOOK! If I can get a from a monstrous cycle like this, so can you!!"

magic: Estrogen's the "cool" hormone and progesterone's the "hot" one, right? I certainly did get a spike of estrogen yesterday. I've had one single temp of 35.6 before many cycles ago... this recent dip of 35.7 is the next lowest since then. Anyway, I'll share my analysis below.

I should note that the two open dots on my FF chart are because I woke up 1 hour earlier than usual (on CD 19 and this morning) and couldn't fall back asleep so I went with the first temp upon awakening. I should also note that I decided to stick with my cheapie thermo's temp this morning (36.2) instead of my new BBT thermo's temp (36.08 ) because the cheapie thermo's temp just looks much nicer on the chart. I know I shouldn't but I'm trying to bring some normalcy back to my chart again!

To analyze my chart this cycle, I'm ignoring:
1) The wierd flat temps in the early part of my cycle
2) The fact that I appear to be ovulating a lot later than I normally do (anywhere from 6-8 days later! )
3) The lack of a clear thermal shift, showing two phases.

Ignoring those pieces of information, by just looking at CD 16-21, I would confidently say those temps and CM consistency show Ov. Today's temp wasn't anything to get excited about... but it's quite a rise in relation to yesterday's low so I'm realllly curious what tomorrow will bring! *Visualizing a steep, dramatic rise on my chart OR a gentle but constant rise over several days* (Magic, I'm hooked on this visualization thing!)

Evening update: I've been wiping bits of sticky CM so it looks like the Ov window has closed. Darn it... I was trying to hold out to stick to the every other day plan but I knew, last night, that seeing the low temp and getting more EWCM probably meant the window was about to slam shut. Still gonna fit one more BD in anyway!

Hmm... your chart is VERY confusing indeed! you know what I like to do? stick in a couple of temps for the next 2 days and see what ff says... its kinda cheating, but you can take them out again Then you'll know if the temps stay high, you O'd! and don't worry about O'ing later - i got a bfp the cycle i O'd on CD19 rather than 16, and since then I've been Oing around CD20/24!??!!? Its a big mess. Most important, your LP seems to be nice and long.
Anyway sorry for the ramble, hope that bod cooperates! Sending you truckloads of !!!

Hiya Cloudy! What did I tell ya chuck!? Your rise is 0.4 degrees which is plenty to show ov - they say 0.2 is the minimum, so that's great! I think your analysis makes a lot of sense. Keeping my fingers crossed for those temps to get even higher and stayup there!
