| CD 19, Finally got a BBT thermometer but... My body's not cooperating at all this cycle! My temp this morning was inconclusive again. I finally got myself a BBT thermometer this afternoon ($20 at the drug store) but when I tested it at the same time as my cheapie, they had pretty much the same temps... just off by 1 degree or less. So, it looks like my cheapie was working fine after all! What the?? If those temps were accurate, then I'm having a really funky cycle... annovulatory, perhaps?
My CM was all mixed up today too. My first morning wipe gave me a good stringy glob of sticky CM. Since then, my wipes have been coming up dry or with tiny bits of EWCM. Huh??
Oddly, again, I'm not gettin' upset and blue like I normally did in cycles past. Hope I've permanently turned over a new leaf! Can't do anything but good for getting a right? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi there Cloudy! I'm sure you'll get a much smoother chart now you've got the BBT. The differences in basal temps can be really small, so although your old thermo might have been working properly it wouldn't register them. You could always use both when you temp for a short time and compare! I saw a big improvement in my chart when I switched.
Glad you're feeling positive today hun! I was feeling pretty down till I read your post and you have made me snap out of it a bit - thanks! |

| magic: I hadn't thought of it that way. You're right... a BBT is more sensitive so it should how the patterns better. My DH, smartie that he is, also suggested using F instead of C because F allows for even more accuracy. Don't ask me how it does... it's a math thing that I understood when he explained it but I couldn't explain it again! Ha ha... I'll keep temping with both thermo's and if I notice a huge variation, I'll bo with the BBT but as I finish off this cycle, I'll default to the old thermo. Next cycle, I'll use the BBT exclusively and try going with F instead of C.
SJ: aw, thanks for the words of encouragement! I refuse to give up on this cycle until AF comes!! |

| Thanks for having a look miel! I'm SOOO perplexed about my darn chart this cycle. I've gotten so used to my fairly "normal" charts for the past 5 months so this one's REALLY throwing me off! If it's implantation, I'd be very surprised... I'm still waiting for signs that I've ovulated! What do you think... when did I ovulate (if at all)? |

| I was kinda thinking that too miel! I was just reluctant to believe that Ov occurred then because the post-O temps were still below coverline (which is also hard to see!) and they've been all over the place since then too! Of course, the EWCM threw me off too. And, GUESS WHAT... I just went for a pee and I got a pretty good wipe of EWCM again! HUH?? My body's really taking me for a ride this cycle! If I was in another frame of mind, I'd be pretty frustrated and angry. Now that I'm all "Miss Sunshine and Flowers" positive, I think it's rather amusing and fun to see what my body's going to throw at me next! Erm... I'm wierd. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | but you what looks like you did well with your BD session anyway so maybe try to have a other BD session tonight or tomorrow and you will be not to worry about wondering if you miss "O" or not...
i think it's very rare to not "O" at all in a cycle ...so there is no reason why you will not had or will
good luck ! and have fun ! |

| Thanks miel! It really helps to have a different perspective. I'm glad that even though I'm doubting myself that someone else is able to see a possible O in that messy chart of mine! Yes, I will be BDing again for a few more days, to make sure I catch the egg good and well! I'm sticking to the every other day schedule so that means DH will get lucky tomorrow night! Let's see what tomorrow brings for me! |
