Just popped by to leave a message and ended up reading loads of your diary. It's really good reading and I feel like I've travelled miles with you.

Hey Cloudy, nice to see your man wanting to participate in the TTC journey! It's amazing how much info they actually pick up when we think they are just nooding their heads to get rid of us!
Good luck on the *ahem* natural method of lube, I'm sure I read somewhere that if we ladies enjoy ourselves during then it actually increases the chances of getting your .....or at least thats what I have told my DH!

I have read that in several books, actually! They all say that it could increase our odds of conceiving if both "Mom" and "Dad" enjoy the babymaking efforts. TMI ALERT: The books say being aroused helps Dad to increase the amount of in his ejaculate and Mom's cervix does a sucking-like action during orgasm, helping to draw the into the cervix.

Coincidentally, the DJs on a local morning show had a discussion about TTC just this morning (that was very pleasant... to hear about this problem I'm CONSUMED with discussed openly on the radio). One of the DJs told about how she was at a gathering with a bunch of ladies and several of them had a very difficult time getting P then recently gave birth/got pregnant after months/years of trying. The one thing that they all had in common, apparently, was that they got pregnant after having "rockstar sex" (the DJ's phrase!). Basically, these women got so frustrated and stressed by TTC so long that they decided to take it easy and/or take out the frustration by having a wild night of partying/vacationing that included lots of , booze-fueled, enthusiastic, uninhibited sex. All of those women said that one night of wild sex was when they finally conceived. Huh... it's all anecdotal and unproven... but, hey, it could work! (BOY was DH excited and all "I told you so!" when I told him about it!

Don't know what to make of three pre-Ov symptoms I've been having:

1. My CM is somewhere between sticky and EW. SCM is the "default" consistency of my CM post-AF and post-Ov. Since this morning it's been stretchy and sticky but at the same time it's not as opaque as my usual SCM... more like cloudy-clear. And there's been a lot more of it... I had to put in a pad today to soak it up. It's also not as stringy-gelatinous as my usual SCM... kinda just spreads out in a flat-gelatinous layer. I've had true EWCM that's exactly like real EW: crystal clear, very stretchy, and slippery. So, not sure if this is just a signal that some good EWCM is coming tomorrow; and, therefore, I'll be Oving soon.

2. After BDing the last two times, I've found streaks of blood in my CM. I know we've been gettin' more sexy between the sheets this cycle but I wouldn't call the wild or rough by any means. Just a bit curious what's goin' on with the blood streaking.

3. I've been feeling the pulling sensation on a persistent basis since around when AF finished. It's almost constantly there. Today it was especially pronounced and felt more sharp at around 11 am. It really feels like a muscle pull but I haven't done any strenuous exercise lately. Very perplexed about this sensation... guess I can rule it out as an Ov or P symptom now!

Do you think that streaking could be ovulation spotting? I've read that it's a really good sign of fertility! The timing would be right anyway!

Hi Cludy I agree with Magic, if you ahd a pronounced pain and a spot of bleeding I would suggest OV. If your CM is stretchy at all without breaking this is considered fertile!!! So keep on jiggying!!!
