sjnams: "keep DH guessing"... how cute! You've made me giggle a few times as I've read your posts in the forums, about you and your DH's  details! I literally laughed out loud when I read one post where you said coughing or sneezing was like givin' his "noo-nah" an internal whip!! (That WAS you who said that, right?) I'm sorry if it's not meant to be funny... :doh:!
tansey: My mom and I aren't as close as you and yours, but she's certainly a huge part of my life and my comfort. She's an absolutely lovely person too in so many ways to soo many people... so it's hitting the whole family very hard. Fortunately, she's currently responding well to the treatment so it's buying us some time.
Yeah, my docs are wonderful. Glad I'll have them with me the whole way, WHEN (not IF!! WHEN... I'm feeling optimistic again) I get P. Surprisingly, DH was not as keen to get the  test as I thought he'd be!  Who knew? He's usually such an accommodating guy, BDing at the drop of a hat and not BDing if I say the time's not right! He says he needs to get used to the idea of the whole "procedure". I know he'll come around soon enough... err... I gave him 'til Friday to say yes!  |

Yes, I get really warm, fuzzy feelings about these female docs of mine! My usual family doc, a male, is definitely not as attentive or knowledgeable about TTC... all he can offer me in terms of advice is based on his own experience TTC his own children! |

| Nat! Yes, they certainly did put my mind at ease and I'm feeling even better today. It's nice to be "back on the horse"... I've missed these familiar TTC feelings of excitement and anticipation. Meanwhile... what the heck's going on with your body? I'll check into your journal to give you a load of hugs.
yaya: no problem! I really hope its useful advice for others as well. Of course, there is no "one size fits all" advice... but, it can't hurt to try at least some of the things my docs suggested. I'm going to try out this am/pm/am/pm + 48 hours rest BD schedule and see what happens. If it works, who knew it was as simple as just finding ways to increase your odds! Hmm... now if only I could apply these rules to playing the lottery... Thanks for dropping by my journal! |

Glad to see you are feeling more positive. Your doctors sound wonderful and what fab advice, I think I will be trying out varying between am and pm....if nothing else it will keep DH guessing!!
