Cloudy!!! Nat is right, CD1 stinks.

Don't worry hun, the vast majority of couples do not have fertility issues, but it still takes up to a year for them to conceive. !!!!

It's so crap starting yet another cycle, but u never know, you could be getting an eggy fertilised in just a couple of weeks time!!!

Yeah, you could even already be theoretically pregnant [] seeing as through medical science has deemed to count pregnancy from the first day of the last menstrual period!!

Don't worry hun, you'll soon be baby-making again and then in the 2ww before you know it.

Yeah I like that thing about calculating the age! That means we are all theoretically pregnant from the first day of AF. Jeez, I have been pg soooooooo many times!!!

Nat, I hadn't thought of that at all... what a great suggestion. I certainly am Fertility Focussed - TTCing's become such a HUGE part of my daily life since I began the prenatals in October 07 and I've got very good, detailed, consistent charts going back to February. I'll give it one more go this month; then, if it doesn't happen, I'll be marching into my doctor's office to inquire about seeing a gyn.

I kept reading in all the books that we shouldn't see the doctor until the 1 year mark. But, I feel that's a ridiculously long time to wait and see if there's problems or not. If I did wait the entire year and DID end up having problems, I would be extreeeeemely upset at all the time that went by. I don't know how much more of this "wait and see" plan I can take.

, my dear Nat!

magic, when I wasn't feeling so bummed, I knew those facts, they made sense, and I didn't doubt them one bit! Now that I've fallen hard again, my brain's been clouded. I'm livin' up to my nickname at the moment. You'll all have to act as my "rational brain" for a little while, till I get over this funk. I know it'll pass soon enough... think I just need some time to "mourn" first. That patience dust will be put to goood use!

my lovely magic!

Oh yaya... that really did make me smile. So, really, AF's just coming to town to do a little housekeeping... tidying up and taking out the garbage from the last cycle so everything's fresh and new to welcome the new egg!

to my wonderful yaya

I just borrowed some books from the library about fertility. I'll share the titles later if I find them to be any good. Reading these books is part of my "therapy"... they give me some hope and something productive to do while I'm in the TWOW.

I'm slowly pulling out of the blues. I pulled myself together enough to make good copies of my last five months of charts to share with the doctor and have an appointment to see her tomorrow. I'm takin' Nat's advice and will be asking the doc if she can make an exception for me, seeing as I'm "Fertility Focussed", and allow me to get some kind of fertility testing done. At the very least, I'd like to just meet with a specialist of some sort and just have an interview/consult. I'm fully expecting doc to say... "Just relax... you've only just started... you're still young". But, I really need more definitive answers right now.

Okay... this is the first time I'll actually share this info... but the one big reason why I'm desperate to conceive as soon as possible is... my mom's got late stage cancer and I'd really like my child/children to meet her. It's just all very sad... my mom's such a wonderful person, she's sooo young still and... argh... anyway... can't think about it anymore, it's too painful... but, yeah... that's why I'm taking this so hard.
