Gaby's ttc journal ^_^

Well, just joined the forum, so i guess i'll introduce myself a bit better than on my post in the intro section.

I'm 18 and my DH is 21. We got married in august and are ttc #1. Just started this week.

We're not in the ideal situation, because we're living with FIL, but by the time a little baby comes along we're sure we'll have found some where more suitable. But FIL is great, so even if we cant find a place here will be great

So, this is my ttc journal. At the moment i'm not taking temps or anything, so i'll prob only post here updates of bfn/bfp each month. Unless i really need to rant about something ^_^

I'm gonna go out this week and buy some folic acid and cough medicine (don't worry, i know which sort to buy ) Also making DH eat lots and lots of bananas

Just come off the pill, so i can't tell how long my cycles are until next AF, but if i go by a 28day cycle with a 14day luteal phase, i should ovulate on the 23rd this month. How great would it be if i conceive on xmas day? Hoping for a bfp in the new year, but i'm not getting my hopes up or AF would flatten me.

Not quite at teh consultant just yet. Ive seen the gynacologist and had blood tests done which suggested poly cystic ovaries. I have an appointment to see the consultant but its not untill August. I have the possibilty of getting a private appointment in April but its still a waiting game even untill then.

Well, just been out shopping so i now have my folic acid tablets

I've been feeling really ill the last few days. Felt very sick this morning and i'm utterly exhausted even though i've only been shopping about 2hrs, prob not even that. And my bad neck's giving my a headache. I've started only taking paracetamol now, which doesnt help anyway near as much as neurofen does. I doubt i'm pg though because i dont think i ovulate until saturday and i took a test this morning which was BFN, although AF's not due until 6th jan. Don't really know why i took the test. I bought 25 off ebay for £14 and they came this morning. At least i know how these ones work now though

Hope i feel better soon I hate feeling ill, especially when DH isn't around to cheer me up. He's working until 11 tonight.

Guess i better go make myself some lunch, although i really dont feel bothered.

*is feeling sorry for self*

From personal experience, i'd try and keep as relaxed as possible for your first few months off the pill....we're in our 4th(or is this the 5th month technically since im waiting on BFP/AF) trying to conceive and it took a while to get the hang of my cycle....

monitor your cervical position and cervical mucus as well if you can and get a hold of a BBT thermometer, Boots do a Fertility diary and Thermometer for £12.99 (thats what we paid anyway), and sign up to www.fertilityfriend.com, you might also want to get some OPK tests from ebay too every little helps.

Best of luck for a speedy BFP
