My heart sunk when I read that little BBC piece about soy beans. OH NO... for the last several months I've been religiously drinking a cup of calcium-fortified soy milk a day to keep up my calcium intake. Milk makes me gassy so now I'm not sure what to turn to to get my calcium.
Hiya Cloudy and welcome to my journal! I wouldn't worry too much about the soy thing hun. I think there still needs to be more research into it. But as for getting calcium - what about cheese or calcium fortified breakfast cereals? I can't stand milk but I have natural yoghurt for breaky everyday. There's a fab website about nutrition that tells you about all the vitamins and fats and more about any food (raw, cooked or ready-prepared) you can imagine : http://www.nutritiondata.com.

I would be highly amazed if all us TTCers stopped eating soy products for a month and we all fell preggers!

CD6 Paranoia

So this morning my temp was only 35.8!!!!!!

I just checked some charts in the FF gallery and searched for those with temps like mine, but none of them dropped down that far! There was one that dipped to 35.9 but the rest were solidly above the 36 mark pre-ov. What does it mean???

I haven't picked up my parcel from the PO yet. May be the battery is going on my old thermometer (due to me checking my temp several times a day for scientific purposes)?

Paranoid......

Oh hun, I'm sure that your temp is completely normal. Our bbt is unique to our metabolism so as long as you get a temp shift with ov and your temps stay high for at least 10 days or so I am sure that everything is fine.

I'm sure it's fine - my temps were all over the shop throughout my cycle. Go get ur parcel.

I'm getting kitted out this cycle. Ordered the monitor, pre seed and just off to the shops to buy some B6 due to the short luteal phase.

Looking out for ur temp rise next week xx

Hun mine are down around that level too....I keep looking for PG chart with LOW PRE-OV BBT.

Even is my post OV last cycle my BBT average was only about 97.4 (which is most people's PRE-OV levels!!)

I was panicking, but as long as I see the normal rise I'm hoping everything is OK.

You woman are just positively insane. Love you for it though!

I think I've had that low of temps preO last cycle. You can click on the ticker and check, not sure. Don't mind it though.

35.8 is not a huge deal for pre-0. As long as your post-0 temps are generally above 36.4 you're doing all right. If you have very low temps throughout you may want to get your thyroid checked.

Ok I got my parcel!!!!!!n

It was my first time buying internet cheapies and wasn't easy as I had to persuade them to ship to Bulgaria, and it has taken a little while to arrive, but here they are! Also got my BBT thermometer

When I collected the parcel my heart sank as it seemed far too small to contain 30 POAS and a thermometer. I was almost too nervous to open the darned thing in case of disappointment! But no, everything is there!!!

So in the name of science, and because of this morning's bizarrely low temp, I have just used my old thermometer (digital but to 0.1 rather than 0.01 places) and the new one at the same time, and the result is:

BBT: 37.12
Old: 36.8

Do you think I should adjust my FF temps or just keep on with the new thermometer (jeez I hate typing that word - it always takes me about 3 goes to get it right!!!!)

Thanks for all your lovely comments ladies!!!
