My temps generally seem to be quite consistent over my cycles, so I have no doubt in my mind that i have ov'd - I have only ever had temps in the 36.6+ range post-ov. Unless my body is being exceptionally weird, that is, which is always a possibility! I am grateful at least for the fact that my charts are easy to read and fairly text-book (touch wood!) It's so easy in ttc to think of all the negatives and the failures, so I like to think more about the stuff that is going well and the lovely things that are sure to happen in the future. Having that red crosshairs on FF is something which makes me (irrationally) really chuffede with meself. So BRing ON the Crosshairs!

Spooooky I was just posting in your journal!!!

I feel fine - just normal, no symptoms to report, boringly. No crosshairs yet on ff despite 3 days of high temps so I have overridden. Hopefully i'll get my proper coverline tomorrow and I can put my thermometer away for the next 9 months!!

Actually, now i think about it, my boobs have been feeling rather tingly! I put that down to post-ov progesterone though! I'd never really noticed it much before but it's quite a novelty feeling now! Makes me feel my boobs are a bit bigger too, which is especially nice as a 51-year-old woman told me last week that my figure was very updown like a boy which depressed me a tad!!! (I am 36B, I don't think i'm that flat-chested!!!, but perhaps a little saggy..... )

OMG!!!!

Thanks Tans!!! I hadn't done it, basically because I was sure that FF would give the the crosshairs by tomorrow. So anyway, I just checked, and it doesn't!!! The toad. So I just put in temps ahead for the next week, all sky high, and still no darned crosshairs! Thanks chick, as I thought I would only have to temp tomorrow, i would probably have gone on for a few more days - something I don't really want to do as DH is not getting up early and I don't want to wake him! Now I know there is no point so I will stick with the override! You're a star!!! xxx

Yep! And I wasn't going to temp, but DH had to get up early after all so I thought i might as well! I really like temping and keeping track of my chart, the only reason for not temping every day is not to wake DH, so I think I'm going to go back to the old fashioned, silent mercury thermometer and use it on the days when I don't want to wake him. (I nearly always wake early anyway!)

If only a high temp at 4dpo meant something more! It's good cos it does mean i've got a lot of progesterone pumping around. Gotta get that womb all plumped up and snug for beany's arrival - in a couple of days may be?!!!

So I found my old thermometer and promptly smashed it! Off to the shops....
