I'm Currently Feeling:  | hey magic, just wanted to say, i'm sure we've all been there at one time or another. I bet if you ask the lovely ladies here quite a few would admit that their OH's have been a bit puzzled or sceptical at times about the sudden change in the amount of sex!!
Me and my DH had this conversation (after i flipped at him over the weekend!!) and he was saying to me that he finds it strange how i suddenly want it more now we are TTC and wonders what will happen afterwards!! Well i just said that it was two-fold for me. Firstly, i've stopped taking the BCP which has made a huuuuggggeeee difference to my sex drive and i've been telling him for years that it was affecting me in that way and he never believed me. Secondly, well... yeah... course....! if you are TTC then of course you will bd more often!! I just explained to my DH that this doesn't mean that i am only doing it to conceive, but actually, TTC makes for a bloody good aphrodisiac and hell we are both enjoying it, so what's the problem??!! I was very honest and said that probably when i do finally get pg, yes we will probably bd less than we are now... so we should enjoy it while we've got it!!! ha ha!! |

I just wish that my DH would believe me when I say that I don't actually need to have and that it doesn't mean I don't love him! I like it on most occasions but I don't have a very high sex drive and I would be happy with a couple of times a month - but he sees that as a sign that I don't fancy him any more which is not the case! I think BCP killed my sex drive too BTW!
Beats me how my DH can be eager for at any moment of the day or time, but gets annoyed that we might be doing it in order to get pregnant. What the hell is wrong with men?! |

Sorry you had a bad day... I am glad it is sorted out now! My mom has gone to bed now so thought I would quickly pop on... have not started BDathon yet but told DH we must start tomorrow for 1 week and there is no saying know or I will throw a  fit lots of and let O roll on so we can get this over with !!  |
