My dh was not a huge fan of temping, etc. either. I think maybe you could just assure him that he will not only get it once every 2 years, make sure you get some in outside your fertile period, & plenty within it. You can also shake things up by doing some non-intercourse-y type things outside your fertile period (or occasionally within it) so that he feels like sex is a fun thing. He's probably just wearing thin as you've both been trying for a year- show him that useful sex & fun sex do not have to be mutually exclusive. Hoping you'll get your this month to put an end to the stress.

Aww, Magic hun, hope yr feeling a bit better this morning. What is going on with us ttc girls? OH and I also had a bit of a tiff last night and I cried myself to sleep last night. Am feeling so fed up this morning and really tempted to just stop everything -- charting, BnB, planning, obsessing!! Why does it have to be so hard?

Sorry to hear about your tiff with your DH. He is probably just stressed with TTC and hasn't come across well when trying to express that.

so sorry to hear about things with your hubby, why does TTC have to be so stressful!!

i think all of us have had this sort of stress lately, You, me, yaya, bird, wish.... the list could go on.

i think we all feel like quitting B&B, charting, and obsessing at some point, cos it just gets 'Too Much'. i have thought about cutting down coming on here lately (particularly when my OH tried to tell me that B&B is making me into a crazy TTC lady)

But we all support each other so well, and hope we continue to do so.

We talked it through and I realised all this comes from the fact that I went to bed early on Sunday night Men are impossible creatures! I was working away at the weekend, had to travel for 10 hours and work all day Sat and Sun, and when I got back on Sunday night I just had to go straight to bed at 9.30pm. It seems that DH felt unloved because we hadn't seen each other all weekend and then I had no time for him. Poor lamb! Honestly though, I don't know why he didn't just say what was bothering him - he doesn't normally beat about the bush. Anyway things are mostly fine now. I wish he hadn't said all those things though about timing of our . I feel like I can't even mention the subject now Still, I'm sure it will all be ok. DH has the emotional memory of a goldfish!

I actually dont log on to B&B at home anymore (well not when my OH is about) so i just log on during work hours whilst im in the office.... my OH got the hump with me (im sure u might remember) when i was coming on here a lot, so i have tried to cut down - to save arguing....

He saw some threads on here before and was like "Nic, i would be so annoyed if sex was just a 'job' to you, all these ladies make it sound like a bloody job and thats not right!!!" i promised him its not like that, but he just doesnt get it, so i try not to talk about B&B at all now in front of him.......

Yeah I don't think my DH knows about this site. We each have a laptop and we sit in front of the telly with them every evening - he plays football games on his and I'm on here! I do some stuff with websites so I always have something open which is too complicated for him to understand like a page of html, so I can switch quickly if he does decide to sit next to me (which is rare, cos we each have our own comfy spots!). I'm sure he must have noticed somethings, but I don't tell him anything about being on here! He would go mental i reckon!

We had a couple of tries that didn't go anywhere this week as well as our BD sessions...DH grumbles that I don't give him a chance to rest!!!

I said the other day that once I'd got PG he'd have a 4 year rest...he said the thought had crossed his mind too!!!

Me and my DH do the same thing. I haven't told him about this site either, not because I don't think he would understand but more because there are some things I want to keep to myself I guess! Men can be such sensitive creatures sometimes...you would think the idea of on tap would appeal to them!!

As for feeling nervy about bringing up BD....Don't bring it up, seduce him!!! As with most things, you have to make him think it's his idea to have Good Luck!!
