HI magic,

So sorry if i'm being thick you have only had your glucose tests back and have to have your others done again? I'm impressed by the speed of the results take near on five working days at my surgery. Bit of a pain in the arse!

S how does glucose relate to your cycles and baby making? I know someone mentioned it but I didn't quite follow.

Best of luck for the remains of our results and well done for telling doctor everything and asking for tests!

love & hugs

Thanks so so much SJ and Newbie for the calcs - times by 18? WTF? Where does that come from?! Second thoughts, no don't tell me!

ShinningStar- I don't really know what it means hun, but Krissi reckons they use it as a test for PCOS, so glad it came out ok!

Sorry for not explaining properly *slap*! I had all the tests done today, including progesterone even though I don't need it, cos they lump them together. Glucose results today, other results tomorrow at 3pm. I still need to have the progesterone done on cd21 so will have to do it (and pay for it grrrrr) again! (They will probably tell me I also need the FSH and LH if they are all lumped together!)

PS I never ever thought I would hear the words "impressed" and "Bulgarian health care system" uttered in the same sentence!!!

it all sounds fab though chick - tonight i had to phone the lab to see if my results were in! As the woman answered the phone ds shouted "no mummy" in his usual dulcit tones - and she said "excuse me can you ring me from somewhere quieter - i really don't need to be dealing with that"
I couldn't believe it! WTF!! Clearly not a people person then!! I explained to her that when you are 2 1/2 you don't understand the word quiet and i absolutely would not ring her back from somewhere quiet! Cheeky cow!!
anyway then i had to ring my docs to tell them that my results were ready and the receptionist rang the lab then rang me back to tell me that my gp would ring me back with the results!! Confused! I bloody was!!!!! if i could've just gone online and picked up my results i would've been so much happier and would've been saved a slagging off session with some horrid rude woman!!
sorry for ranting in your journal hun! I feel so much better now though!!!
so....you sound like you are feeling much more positive about stuff. Do you feel like you are back in control?

Hun, I am always in control! DH reckons I wear the trousers! Yeah the UK system does sound pretty crap put like that, and I can't believe the bloomin cheek of that woman! WTF?! How dare she! I would write a letter of complaint to to to .... someone! Thing is, I suppose nobody actually gives a crap, do they, so they can treat you how they like! Grrrrrrr! Glad you feel better for the rant tho- and pls feel free to rant in my journal anytime you like! There isn't nearly enough ranting in here! The UK system sounds about as efficient as I would expect from the NHS tbh tho! Bulgaria is a pretty small place really, so it should be easier to get things organised I guess... no, I am clutching at straws here- I still can't really believe that it's better over here?! OK, here's a downside- I did have to pay for my tests? I guess it's all free back home?

Anyway, yeah I am optimistic, but then I always am. Stupidly optimistic perhaps, but there you go! xxx
