You don't really want an answer to this one, right? You are CD 8. I for one found that time does tend to fly by faster in the WWO period.

CD8 Time to get Jiggy

Hello people!

Well, I have started using my new BBT thermometer, and my temps are perfectly aligned with the old one despite the apparent huge difference when tested under laboratory conditions. I checked with the VIP service on FF (just to see if it worked - and it does!) to see if there was any way to tell their sophisticated programming that I have a new tongue-stick. They said sorry no, but that I should deffo start using it and ditch the old one, as it's still early days cycle-wise, (as Nat pointed out. Hey Nat - if you're bored with your computer job why not see if FF have any vacancies - you must be more than qualified with your biology/computing combo!)

Anyway, yesterday I got 36.21 and the same today! How consistent am I!!!!
I have *ahem* started with my OPKs - my shortest cycle is 23 days so I feel I have to start early just in case.

So we tried a bit of warm-up practise last night but only got as far as finger-painting before I got a cramp in my left hip. I keep getting this and it's bloody annoying I can tell you! Puts you right off. Probably the onset of arthritis due to my advanced age Anyway, let the fun commence!!!!

You stopped for a cramp?!?! That's crazy! We calculated that between the two of us there were at least 3 cramps in different sides of our bodies during crucial times this month and none of us stopped! And we weren't even really trying this time around. Get back to it now!

Is finger painting what I think it is?!?

I had visions of all sorts with the "finger painting"!!!!

CD8 only 3 days behind me!!!! But...look at my chart.....I don't like the way my pre-ov temps of this month are getting too close to the post-ov temps of last month.....I might not see a rise!!!!!

Ah well you see I'm only CD8 so I couldn't class it as crucial. I had to wave my leg around a bit to make the cramp stop at which point DH looked up and asked me if I was bored and started getting a bit stroppy. It was also 1.30am. I made a quick mental calculation and decided it would be better to quit now and save some energy for today rather than waste time trying to get back to where we were
Now, if it had been a crucialday, I would have just athletically manipulated DH so that we smoothly rotated into a different position, hence eliminating the cramp for the duration. But on a non-crucial day? Nope, can't be arsed.

You're right Yaya! But my OPKs were negative from Monday so I don't think I've missed that eggy! Also my average over the last 11 cycles is 26 so I'm pretty sure I'm ok. But, as you suggest, we can never betotally sure - hence the BD-athon last month, and no doubt this month too!!! Love ya loads
