I'm Currently Feeling: | Hoping for a miracle - Faerie's diary Thinking that as I seem to have been spending a rather lot of time on BnB recently that I should start one of these!
DH and I have been together since April 2005 and got married just over a month ago. We've been TTC since September 2007. He's 32 and I'm 24.
He's been given a clean bill of health.. in fact the Dr said he's never seen such a strong sperm count , it's the stuff of textbooks, DH was very pleased
I've had problem periods since I was 12 (they started when I was 10) and at 20 I was finally officially diagnosed with endometriosis via a laparascopy. I've had 3 miscarriages where I only knew I was pregnant when I mc (1 when I was 18 and 2 with DH before we started to TTC). I was put on GnRH agonist (induces temp menopause) to clear the endometriosis, which seemed to work as 3 months later I fell pregnant. Last June I had a MC at just under 12 weeks, the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. In September I had an ectopic pregnancy at 8 weeks and this last Feb they discovered through an HSG that my right tube was blocked, we were just waiting til after the wedding to have it removed. Three weeks ago I collapsed at work and had an emergency op to remove the tube. It was twisted, filled with liquid, I had an infection and my ovary, tube and bowel were all fused together with adhesions from previous surgeries (had my apendix out at 16 and this seems to have been the start of it) - yick. They reckon that due to the liquid in my tube, whenever I got pregnant this would flood my uterus and poison the baby, hoping that's the reason for the mcs. Anyway, I've been off work since then but hoping all is healed and we will finally get our
The hospital have said that although I'm only 24 because of all the problems if I'm not pregnant in 6 months they'll start IVF. However I seem to really fertile, I've gotten pregnant on the injection and with a condom, I just need some sticky glue.
I just handed in my resignation and have made the scary scary decision to leave Switzerland/France and return to the UK for a while as I've been miserable here for some time. I miss good shopping and people with a sense of humour, or people with any personality at all - for which Basel is not the place to be! I plan to pass my driving test (belated and would make life so much easier), go to college and get some different career experience. DH had said I needed to do one thing at a time and that we should now put TTC on hold for a few months, but just yesterday he said to me "you know what, I don't want to wait" so all systems go go... after my 1 month rest period that is! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey hun, good to see you started a journal. You seem to have been on a very hard journey with all that going on. When I see all that I count myself lucky that I only seem to have trouble conceiving and that I haven't got all the extra to make it more difficult.
I'm sure that you'll get ur sticky bfp soon though and until then we'll all be on here supporting you.
Good luck and I hope the move works out for you.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls! Thanks for all your messages. It's been a revelation being on BnB, it's easy to think you're the only one with problems and reading everyone's stories and efforts to get a baby is humbling. I know that we'll get our BFPs soon and there's going to be a lot of super-loved babies out there xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My wild Saturday night... Not so wild really, though drinking a vodka and strawberry juice.. is it bad to drink by yourself?
My poor kitty seems to have an eye infection, which he is sulking at me about (because I flushed it with water). Seeing as I can't drive it's a pain to get him to the vet but I'll have to figure out a way.. another reason to get back to the UK and pass my test. DH is away at work til next Friday night. |
