I'm Currently Feeling: | First day back in the office I couldn't sleep last night, tossed and turned and eventually went and grabbed Ziggy from his bed for a cuddle, because he always makes me feel better! I think I was fretting about coming into work, so much to catch up on. My boss is on holiday this week, which is even worse because the next senior person in our team so loves the role of master and commander.
I cycled the 8km in, which cleared my head and helped me feel better, but as I had to get up at 6:30 to do so meant I'm functioning today on about 3 hours sleep.. not so good.
My work is such a weird place. Colleagues have already come up to me today and said "oh, you're looking good, you've really slimmed down". And these are male colleagues, what are they on?? Only 9:38 and I've already shut myself in my office!
My best friend is pregnant and I'm excited to see how she's looking after 3 weeks. She's just over 12 weeks )if I remember correctly. I'm being very brave and lending her my maternity clothes from last year and keeping positive thoughts at all times! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww, hun. Hope your day gets better soon. Are you seeing your best friend today? Good on you for being so generous and happy for her. That's more than a lot of people would be in your shoes.
8km!!! Omg, are you the next iron woman or something? That is some serious distance sister!! Hee hee -- I haven't cycled/walked/moved 8km at a stretch for a very long time. I guess that explains a lot of things!
Keep thinking positive hun

I'm Currently Feeling: | My friend won't be in til this afternoon. It was quite difficult TBH when she told me about her pregnancy. They had been on and off TTC for just under a year, although she'd only been charting a couple of months. They don't have the soundest of relationships and had been arguing a lot and decided not to TTC anymore, and of course that's when she found out she was pregnant!
She was all confused at first and even talked about having an abortion, I had to bite my tongue very very hard. She seems a lot happier now though. I do need to talk to her, feels like she's avoiding me a bit, and maybe that's because she's not sure how I feel about it all but I'm fed up of pregnant people treating me like I'm a pariah!!
Yaya - the 8km this morning was mostly downhill and doesn't count... so of course it's the ride home that will kill me! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww your wedding sound's perfect!!
Hehe Glad Ziggy is keeping you entertained. My old cat was very fond of brinking me present's. That usually involved Fish (from neighbour's pond's) and whatever bird's seem to be hanging around my garden. The bird's he brought me were generally Seagull's and Pidgeon's almost bigger than him. I think he liked a challenge
You are a brave lady cycling 8km!
I can just about manage 2 mile's on my exercise bike
I think I need to get out more

I'm Currently Feeling: | Dippy tart Ended up taking me a while to get home tonight... I left work early enough but I got on the wrong bus, and it was direct to it's destination and it took me 50 mins to get back to where I wanted to be. I leave my bike on the outskirts of town as their are lots of trams and I'm not so good with trams, I ended up pinned between one and parked cars last year and it scared the crap out of me!
Ha ha, Kaelia, I'm glad Ziggy doesn't bring me the birds! He eats them in the garden and meows at me "hey Mummy look what I did!".
TBH the biggest motivation for my cycling is that it saves me money! Seeing as I haven't passed my driving test, if I don't cycle or walk (not 8km, there is actually a bus stop after 3km but I like to cycle further) then I have to get a taxi to the bus stop, which is 4euros each way. Plus cyclings the only exercise I really enjoy, well, I can't jog and the gym bores me. When I'm back in the UK I have to take up jujitsu, heeeeeyah!
I didn't really see much of my friend today, seeing as she only came in the avo she was busy.
Wish I knew whether AF was starting, still got stupid pains.
Ok, I'm going to bed, let's see if I can sleep better tonight xxxx | | | | Status: Offline
