Do you think they'd notice if I fell asleep under the desk? | Hun, just go easy on yourself....but these sound like PG symptoms to me...tired, boobies and nausea....hun I'm not counting you out until you get your next |

One more class then a meeting until I can go home to my bed, woohoo. Back ache is going now, glad I didn't ring docs, feeling a lot more relaxed again. My god, I am having some mood swings today! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Jolyn
I just read through your journal - sorry you're going through this
Don't want to scare you, but I think you should get to A and E and tell them you're worried about an ectopic pregnancy. You shouldn't still have pg symptoms after a chemical pregnancy. Hopefully it won't be an ectopic, but at least they will take blood and you'll know what's going on.
Hoping everything is fine
This is from wobbles post on miscarriage myths and facts in the miscarriage support forum. Quote: |
A pregnancy test that is positive, then negative: This is a classic sign of an ectopic. Often you may also see spotting. If you have taken a pregnancy test that is positive, then another one a few days later that is negative, alert your doctor immediately. You want to rule out an ectopic or take care of it before you have to go the surgical route. If you are taking the tests in the same day, though, you might be right on the edge of a positive result, and urine later in the day may not be concentrated enough to keep the test positive. Test again the next morning to be sure.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hello Jo
So sorry about your experience. I can't believe that doctor, was she not trained to handle peoples emotional reactions?! She's really mean, obviously isn't very professional and not very good at her job. She should know that when having a bfp then a bfn they need to do a blood test for the most accurate results and so that they can give you an answer to what might be happening. I suggest you get a new doctor that has different options available, that is more understanding and knowledgeable.
If you are having all these symptoms it's something that they really need to look into not sit there and act like you're pretending. All of those positive hpts that you took can't be wrong. I'm really hoping that everything is sorted out for you and that you finally know what's happening. |

| Jolyn, that sounds like good advice from Mugzy. Everything should be considered and your health comes first over everything else. I for one would like to know why the results were conflicting and would want to ensure I took every step to make sure I was OK.
It sounds scary, but it's a good suggestion just in case. We all wish the best for you and want to put your mind at ease, but none of us are medical experts (at least I don't think any of us are) and the health service is free in this country ... so you have no excuse.
Come on honey, nudge yourself to revisit you doctor. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Just had a nice big hug with DH I think it's finally sinking in what has been happening - he's just been ignoring it so far, as if there never was a which has been difficult, but I think he gets it now.
I am ringing the docs first thing in the morning but until then I intend to go and have a very big sleep. I'm off to bed asap, thx everyone xx |
