Hey Jo

sorry about the BFN on the digi.....

Just FYI - back track through these journals - and have a peek at Chellebelles Journal (look at page 48 of her JN) she is just over 7 wks PG now, but in her journal she has a pic of a BFP but says she took a digi and it said NOT PREGNANT

but she got her pregnancy confirmed by bloods at her docs.

apparently, i have heard, that the digi tests are not as 'sensitive' as they claim to be. might be worth seeing the doc???

Good Luck Chick

Well it's set in my head now that it's a bfn - still gonna test in the morning, but expecting a bfn. That line is just a fluke. I did ring the docs earlier for advice and they said to take a sample in on Monday morn if I want them to test. Think I'm just gonna relax 4 now and have a sneaky glass of wine xx

Hello Jo This is so interesting! The other ladies are right I have learned that the digis are not as sensitive as the dye sticks. I don't like using digis myself I like the ones that you can see the actual result. I so hope that this is it for you!! my af seemed like it came early too I don't think it was af but our bodies always wanna do strange things. If you do get a bfp in the morning that's 2 cycle buddies out of 3 and that's not a bad outcome. GL

Ok - I don't know what to think anymore. The digi had a BFN last night, just did the Tesco cheapy and there's another faint line! In my frustration I opened up the digi and there is nice big blue line on there - what?

Now I'm thinking, is this the remains of a chemical PG - as I had an AF?

DH is not being very supportive - he keeps saying 'I don't know if I can see anything - there is something there - but shouldn't it be like the other line?' I can understand not wanting to get too excited in case I'm not PG, but I need someone to share this anticipation and excitement with. HELP!!!!

I've tried taking some pics but the camera doesn't take very good close ups so looks blurry - I'll keep trying and post them soon xx

Here are the tests - the pink is Tesco and the blue is the digi.
I have played with the saturation and bits to try and make the lines a bit more clearer to you.

oK...let's all take a deep breath!

You started spotting at 8DPO...this can last a day or so if it's implantation. However yours lasted 5 days-ish.

BUT...if it was a chemical PG...it woldn't have been able to produce HCG at 8DPO if it was implantation as it would only have started...so there is that to consider too....hmmmmm!!!

I think the best thing to do is have a word with the doc...they will be able to confirm one way or the other.

I jsut don't want you to get your hopes up...better to expect a little disappointment and then have that change than the other way around.

Does that make sense? I really hope it's your but I am going to be the cautious one.

ETA: You posted your pics as I was typing...I have to say tey do look convincing to me...if you look at FAQ32 on the peeonastick.com website, you will note that it discusses "A line is a line is a line"....Now if this was an OPK I would say NEG....but as this is an HPT i would deffo say POS...

So....get a docs call on this...but I say it's your BFP...need to also look at your temps too...are they up again today?

ETA PART TWO: Your temps are still above the coverline which is still a good sign.
