Hello Everyone!!! Someone suggested to me to start my own journal, so here goes and i really feel this may help me!!!

I'm 22 and my wonderful husband is 28, we've been married a little over 6 months, both have quite good jobs and a home to call our own, now all we want is a little bub to complete our lives.

We've been TTC for 7 months, with as yet, no luck. We went to see the doc about it all and he was very un helpful, all we wanted was a little advice on ovulation/fertility etc and we got "just do what comes naturally, minus the contraceptives and it will......"

Well at this stage now thats what we've been doing, but i've been off the BCP for just over a year and we BD regularly.....nothing.

We're both fairly healthy, eat well and i take a pre natal supplement. Granted as some of you may have read i am currently balling with my emotions to quit smoking, its tough right now as i want a baby so much, but every time AF appears it gets me down and smoking is my pick me up.....bad i know, and i do want to quit and i will, and i certainly wouldn't smoke whilst PG.
DH smokes a little but prob no as much as i do.

Next plan is to start with OPK and BBT charting, in a bid to step up our odds, just the other day i felt like i was having Ovulation pains, which i must admit i've not felt for a long while, but now i feel like AF is on her way.....by my calcs she's not due til about the 10th may, but who knows.....i've been known to be a little irregular.

So thats a little about me, most of it repeated from other posts, but was the only way i felt i could start this journal!!!! 0]

DH had a hernia a few years ago, it is now re-occuring. He's had a scan and is waiting to see the specialist next week. Well he hurt himself quite badly at work today, and was sent home.
I'm really worried about him because he is still sore and pain killers are not making much odds, also pretty much rules out

for us til he's less sore.
What with this and feeling like

, not at all helping with the quitting the ciggies!!!!

Ok so DH is now signed off for a week, and sees the specialist next week also. He's in alot of pain, and has been prescribed stronger pain killers. I'm really worried about him because last time he had his hernia, he was out of action for months work wise, and this will be a huge blow financially and also in terms of TTC as he won't be up to much BD'ing.....so all in all things feel soooo much worse today, i'm really

, but i know thats selfish.

Well when he had his scan the woman swore out loud and said that it was the biggest she had seen!!! So i don't think we've much luck of it not being too bad. That said last time, it popped and dropped into his scrotum (sorry tmi) and that was bad, but he had private healthcare at the time with the job he had, so it was dealt with quickly. This time i doubt it will be so quick

Oh I'm sorry hon, hope your OH is feeling better soon. What's the next step with the hernia treatment?

We've been in your position a few times, my DH has a strange back condition where he gets an infection in the discs in his back which sucks out all of the fluid and collapses the discs one at a time. Last time he had the infection, he was out of work for 5 months and I had to help him dress etc. It's a horrible worry and I really feel for you. Feel free to pm me if you need a chat.

Thanks Girls, I'm feeling really down tonight, been feeling really yucky since i finished work for the day, all dizzy and nauseous. Not like me at all. Really could

. Oh dear....i really am having one of those days!!!!!

Next step for DH is to see the specialist again on 7th May, who will decide the next step, which will probably be an operation. This will no doubt put him out of action in all senses for quite a while, but i don't think there is any other way arround it. I really feel for him as he went through this when he was 23 and 5 years later here he is again, poor guy

Thanks for all the support, i know my probs are minor than those of some others, i just get down and can't help but wallow!!!
