Yaya: The TTC Diary Of A Charting Addict

Hi all

I am new to the site but really like the idea of keeping a ttc diary as a place to obsess, agonise, vent and occassionally ball my eyes out!!

I am 31 years old and my OH is 56. As a result of his age, we have some unique ttc issues -- -- IYKWIM! It's difficult to get a lot of bd-ing in during my fertile times because of this! Needless to say, it can be very frustrating & i have to work very hard not to get angry and resentful. I chart obsessively and so far everything looks fine on that front -- now, if only i could get the spermies lol!!

I am on 3dpo today but sadly it's going to be a long and boring 2ww as OH was ill with flu during my entire fertile period & i didn't get in one bd!!! Oh well, at least i can use it as a test case of symptom spotting every twinge i get in a normal non-pregnancy cycle. Might be a sobering point of comparison for future 2ww!!

So far i've had: lots of thick, sticky cm( sorry!), sore boobs and nipples, sugar cravings, bloating and tiredness!

lotsa love
yaya xx

Hi Yaya, welcome to B&B , you're right, a diary is a great source to vent and keep track of your progress. I wouldn't be without mine.

I'm sorry - but try as I may I can't figure out what IYKWIM stands for. Although you may not want to elaborate and thats fine.

Good luck with your cycle, I know it's not going to happen this month but some dust for next month won't go astray!

Evening all

Just had a long nap as i'm not feeling too great --i think dh might have passed on the dreaded flu-bug to me!

I can't believe i still have to wait like another 11 days till AF and then only can i get started on another cycle! I'm starting to really look forward to a 2ww in which i actually have a chance and so can join in all the obsessing & agonising!! Hee hee - sounds loony i know! But there really is almost nothing worse than a 2ww wait in which u know you haven't got a hope! Anyway sorry for the pity party girls. At the moment, the only comfort i'm finding is in food!! Oh dear!

Argh!! Roll on the next two weeks so i can have a chance again!!!

You've made a good point. A lot of us girls hate the TWW - but I've never thought at it from the other end of the scale. At least we can wake up each morning with the chance - the hope. I hope your 11 days pass quickly for you.

Don't worry, this site is great for passing time - in fact losing time altogether!

Do you have a plan for this cycle?
I haven't seen any OPK's on your chart, do you use them?
I find them invaluable! And wouldn't be without them.

Let us know how you're doing.

Monday, 28 April....4dpo

Morning girlies

Well, 4dpo for me -- y.a.w.n -- another 10 days to go before the arrives -- for once i can't wait for the old hag to show her face! Well, I'm still stuffing my face with all sorts of cr*p; at least when i think there might be a small chance of a i have an incentive to eat healthy! **sigh** Don't even feel like popping my vitamins .

NeyNey: lol at losing time altogether on this site -- hee hee!! I know all about it -- i am in danger of losing my job if i don't watch myself lol! Do i have a plan?? Yeah, the short term plan it to manage some bd-ing next month!!! Seriously though, i will probably continue with my regular plan: charting obsessively, taking royal jelly, epo, heaps of vitamins, fish oil, carrot juice, green tea... I don't do opk's yet as i think i can pretty much tell when i am fertile from cm, cp and other ov signs that i get. Also, weirdly(!!) i have a bit of an aversion to poas!! Hee hee! The opposite of a poas addict -- i loathe hpt's i guess cause everytime i've taken one, i have ended up feeling like a real idiot! I'd love a cbfm though!! Sadly, they're a bit too expensive to buy from here though I've included a pic of my doggie Mimi below -- she is 8 months now & has just been spayed:

Thanks Mugzy & Nat for yr well wishes!

lotsa love
