| WTF????!!!!! This ,ight be tmi - sorry Ermmm......help needed please!
I went to the loo about an hour and a half ago and noticed that my cm was pinkish tinged, I thought this yesterday but couldn't properly tell cause I had pink knickers on anyway I thought, hmmm that's a bit odd.
So I checked my CP and I was like ok...where is my cervix so I reached really far and found it but it was really soft and really high. Then I looked at my finger (soooo sorry tmi ) and it was full of blood Like af???!!!!
Af isn't due yet! At the very earliest she wouldn't be due for another 4 days. But recently she's been very late (like 39 day cycles) and I thought I had Ov on sat and that today was 5dpo!
I went to the toilet again 5mins ago and normally when I just get af it comes on thick and fast and I'd need to wear a tampon already but just a tiny bit of pink discharge in knickers and nothing when I wipe?!
I have never had spotting or beeding in between periods before
Does anyone know whats going on?! do you think af might just be VERY early (but surely I couldn't just have a 5 day LP?!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hon,
Just came into your journal to say congrats about the test results.
I am afraid I don't know about the pinkish CM, could be implantation?
I really hope it is for you.
Keep us posted.

| I've posted the same answer in the other thread. Hi TT,
I've just had this this cycle and have had it once before in January when my FF chart showed I had delayed ovulation. Apparently it's normal in nearly all women to have late ovulation from time to time and I've been told by my health nurse that it's nothing to worry about.
If you temp'd you would have a better chance of knowing when you ovulate ... look at my chart and you will see what I mean.
When I have delayed ovulation, my body seems to attempt to ovulate a couple of times before I actually do and I have ovulation bleeds (or spotting). It's enough to make me think AF is here and I have (on both occasions) used a tampon, only to be surprised to find that it stops. My CP was high and soft too, which is where it should be when you ovulate. Another indication that you are having an ovulation bleed (look it up on the internet, it's supposed to be a great indicator of ovulation). By the way, I have never spotted before either ... or at least I never noticed before TTC.
You could quite likely not have ovulated, so don't stop BD'g yet. I've missed the boat both of these cycles January and this month by thinking I had already ovulated. It does sound as if you have delayed O as you have no AF cramps ... just the same as my experience. Don't worry, it's normal.
Hope this helps.
PS: More likely than not, your period has not been late, your ovulation has been delayed as your luteal phase should be a regular length. Mine is 14 days and if I count back from my CD1 I can determine my Ov date. You will be able to do this too if and when AF comes and tell when you ovulated. I wouldn't be surprised to find that it is around the time (give or take a day or two) of when you had the spotting. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi TT read in your other post that the has caught you early, silly cow that she is. On the plus side you get to start your next cycle earlier than planned so not as long to wait til your next attempt!!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Damn, can't believe he will be gone during your ov! You never know though, you could still catch the egg either side of him being gone! Hopefully OPK's will help you pinpoint ov! |

| Oh TT hun I'm really sorry. That stinks!
How about trying to chart this month? I know a lot of people think it's too obsessive for them but I don't think so at all -- for me it's just really informative and interesting. If I didn't chart I would think I ov around CD 12 (Average cycle is 26 days -- minus 14 day LP = ov on CD 12). In truth, I actually ov around CD 9/10 and have a longer than average LP. I would be bd-ing at the wrong times if I wasn't charting.
Maybe think about it?

Yaya xxx | Yes, I am going to chart this month. I mentioned it a few days ago, so what do I need? A thermometer? is digital or normall the best and do you just put it under your tongue like when your ill?
Thanks, and sorry for all the questions |

| Well, I use an old fashioned glass mercury Basal Body thermometer. Most girls use a digital basal one however -- it takes quicker to get a reading -- I think they beep after a minute (whereas I have to keep mine in my mouth for a full 5 min).
You just put it close by your bed so that it's in easy reach without you having to get up, pop it in yr mouth at around the same time (give or take 15 min or so) every morning before you get up or do anything else. I put mine under my tongue -- anywhere in yr mouth is fine though - I think - as long as you do it the same way every time.
Good luck!
