I'm FUMING with DB!!! I'm pretty sure I'm Ov'ing today, I woke up with enlarged (.) (.) 's and tender end bit's (sorry tmi ) which is normally my 'sign' and yesterday (via an e-mail) I explained to DB that we need to make more of an effort to at the right time and he replied saying that he agreed and again when I got in last night we had a talk about it and he was all like 'yeah, I totally agree' .....then.....he rolled over and went to sleep! hello!?

Then I was thinking, alright....he might be tired maybe we'll do it in the morning, right? WRONG! the alarm goes off, he jumps out of bed and into the shower, my bottom lip hits the floor

So then he get out of the shower and comes and gives me a cuddle and I'm like and he says 'aww, are you upset cause we haven't '

'Oh no DB, it's totally fine! I'll just wait another month. Whats 4 weeks right? Only 28 days ....that's 672 hours till the next friken egg!!!!

Oh I'm soooo annoyed with him I mean, it's alright me going on about temping, spending a kings ransom on OPK's and HPT's and pre-seed but at the end of the day to make a there needs to be one vital ingredient...... !

So, thats it. I've as good as missed this month. If I'm Ov'ing today then it's game over this month. We BD'ed Sat, then nothing Sunday, nothing Monday, nothing today. (and if he even thinks of coming near me tonight ....on general principal )


Oh, and you know what he said! Ha ha ,now this is a good one , 'TT, as if there's only like 2 or 3 days in the month where you can get pg'

chick, men are such idiots sometimes. OH was exactly the same when we were ttc for our first. There's nothing i can say to make you feel better but thank god you have this lickle ole place to come on and vent your feelings and anger.
you never know though - maybe you are getting ready to ov? why not try a OPK just to see - that way you can make him creep to you tonight and catch that eggy. Hope you can. also, sperm lasts for quite a while (even longer with preseed) so you might've covered base with saturday nights session. here's hoping chick. Hope you feel better, but sending you a great big just in case. xx

Wow, between you and Farie, I feel slightly less alone this month... That's not to say I'm taking ANY pleasure WHATSOEVER in your misery I just mean, I KNOW how it is. You may have read my journal too: we have EXACTLY the same problem. It took MONTHS of me drilling it into his head that we HAVE to do it at a specific time or it WONT WORK, no matter how much we do it the rest of the time; and to be honest, it STILL didn't click, until I got pg and had a m/c. FINALLY, he seems to have come round a bit. but only just. and only sometimes....
I hear ya honey. I really do.
But try an opk today, why not? I seem to get the best results at night, around 8pm or so after not drinking much in the aft, or after some exercise... if you get a line, you still have time! actually... even if you DON'T get a line you still have time. OR, on the flipside, you may already have O'd and Saturday's session caught it! Sore bbs are progesterone-related; progesterone comes AFTER O... so you never know!
Can HIGHLY recommend temping - can also offer some help if you need it... but opk's are my new favourite thing- at least they help with impending O, whereas temping kinda tells you when its too late...
Anyway, sorry for the monster post, hope you're feeling better - take it easy on DH... or not...

I'm with you today...it couldn't have been more alike this morning.

Last night OH cuddles and tells me he has a late start in the morning...so this morning I do the ole slidy slidy cuddle up to gorgeous bod, how promptly screams (yes and believe it I am the only girl in the relationship) and jumps out of bed saying I have cold hands. WHAAT?

Proceeds to get onto his laptop and starts work.

Not to be put off (warmed hands first!), tried again....his phones goes off, and I get a "Sorry Love, need to take this!" Oh yea? Know what I need to take? Here's a pot...I might as well do it myself.
Then I sloped off to the bathroom, ran the tap and had a blurt

So love, it seems we all have the same issue - MEN!!

Try again later hon, cos the little eggy may be hanging around for the swimmers!! Good luck

Hi hun - i've got to laugh because the way you tell it is so funny. BUT it's not a laughing matter, men have NO idea! Have make up sex tonight as you never know! Also on FF you can see charts and some ladies have got pg when they only BD 4 days before OV!

Hiya TTs! Sorry to see you've had a good cause for a rant Men are idiots! One thing you can do (if it is too late this month, but those could still be hanging round from Saturday!), when u start temping on FF, show your OH your chart. FF puts green squares on your fertile days, and shows you a green traffic light. I showed my DH my charts and he seemed to understand the whole thing a lot better in graph format!! MEN! Anyway, here's hoping you won't need any of the charts or 21 day test!

I'm also more than happy to give you a hand with charting/temping/FF etc! It's very addictive tho, beware!

Well, I got in last night and he'd made my tea and was creaping around me, which really annoyed me more cause he never normally makes a bloody effort! I then explained that if he wasn't going to put the effort in then I was gonna call it a day and the next available 'window' in my life for a would be in a couple of years when I'd opened my second studio.

Well you should of seen him 'pull his socks up' lol and about bleeding time too! he was all like 'so, we only have a couple of days each month? right well, what can I do to improve our chances?'

Finaly!

But when he tried it on at bed time I was having none of it....I'm just far too stubborn! I was like 'there's no point now, we've missed it. We'll have to wait a whole other month now'

I know it's being stubborn and silly and harsh but I'm afraid he's going to just have to learn how it feels to have your hopes squashed every month cause the other person can't be a***d putting a shift in (so to speak )

So, if I'm knocked up this month it's a miracle, but hey ho. At least I'll get my own way next month ......
