2ww has begun

Right .. my long weekend ..............
Had a lovely afternoon/evening/meal at the posh hotel, was amazing grub and the room was gorgeous (even had a little wood burning stove) but no BDing at all!

By the time we had eaten the supper and got to bed we were both stuffed and OH seemed a little zoned out, this morning again bit distracted.
Was a little peeved as I really wanted to make use of the amazing surroundings (read amazing bed)!

So pottered home about mid day and went for a lovely cycle ride along the Thames with the dog, stopped off in the park on the way back and after a little while smooching (like a pair of 16 yr olds )
He asked me if I would change anything about the day and I said no, he said there was one thing he would change and pulled out the ring and proposed
He's been carrying it about all weekend waiting for the right moment ... no wonder he was distracted and not up for the

I love him so much, it was the most perfect proposal, totally relaxed, intimate and very 'us'. The ring is sapphire and diamond and beautiful
So, we will be BDing tonight in celebration and I am a very happy girlie, and I have a very happy OH!
