SARAH'S TTC DIARY

Read how much your journals have helped you, so decided to give my own a go.

I have been with my husband since I was 14 ( 1998 ) and both of us always wanted children. My need was so great I decided to train as a Primary School teacher. We finally got married in August 2004 (both aged 21) and bought a little flat. I went back to Uni and now have been teaching for over two years. This has given us time to build up our finances and last Summer got a 3 bed house, ready to fill up with little people......or so that was the plan. Now after 10 years of being together we are desparate! We have been trying to conceive properly since beginning of November 2007.

Everyone around us seems to fall pregnant so quickly (and all so unprepared). I feel like my whole life has been building up to this point and now nothing is happening. It's all hubby and I talk about and tcc is on our minds constantly. We have officially become obsessive!

Hey Chick nice to see you started a journal, i did one too after much advice from the others and its a great release for all our venting, otherwise OH would get it in the ear all the time bless hiim!!
I trained as a primary school teacher too but wasnt sensible like you and didnt take it up, got my degree and then went and worked in a mortgage brokers instead Couldnt cope with the stress! Now look at me ttc and there is prb nothing more stressful than that hey??!!
I completely understand how you feel and i really mean that. me and OH have been doing loads of work etc to get house looking really nice and low and behold still no baby. We got married two years ago and have been trying for 10 months now and it makes me sick and frustrated that everyone else seems to sneeze and theyre preg and we are still very much, not pregnant. I ask myslef all the time why not us?? And i can see youre going through the same thing.
I guess it will happen, there are as many couples who take even longer than us ttc its just i guess our minds only hold on to the success stories, i guess.
We will get our bfp's im sure of it, there are that many girls on here who i used to see complaining of the same thing as us and some trying for so much longer and now theyre over in the first trimester forum and beyond. I promise.
We are all having down times, youre not alone, this is a good way to get all your feelings out.
Like I said to all the other girls think we need to start pooling our seduction scenarios as mine are getting old and im running out of ideas to make this ttc fun !! Maybe we can all help each other!! Hope you feeling better chick xxx

Thank you so much for that wonderful speech! It's made me feel better already!
I know we haven't been ttc long, but I suppose I was a little naive and just expected it to happen straightaway. Like everyone else, it gets me down and yes, it's far more stressful than teaching!!
Apart from how addictive this forum is, it's great. I don't know anyone else ttc- it's just happened to all my nearest and dearest and I felt so alone...until I met you lot. As much as I wouldn't wish our situation on anyone-it's great to know that people understand how I might be feeling.
Really wish that you get your soon. It sounds like you deserve it and need it.

Thought I better send an update while my mood is actually not too bad!!
I think I've had PMT for about 3 weeks now!! I'm currently 18 days overdue my visit from the and have felt like the has been here ll this time. What is happening to me?? I thought I was best to stay off this site the past couple of days to not dampen anyone elses spirits! However I've now accepted that the just forgot to visit me- wouldn't mind if it meant I would get my , but that would be too lucky.
Anyway I ordered my CBFM today-it's so exciting!! That's how crazy TTC makes us! And how skint it makes us! Couldn't believe the price. How cruel to charge us this much to help us conceive-it should be free. Every penny spent will be worth it though-even if it doesn't work, it will give me something else to get addicted to! Thanks for all the advice given about CBFMs-would like to hear more success stories in May! come on girls, let's get our s.
This really isn't getting my work done!
Nothing to report anyway. Woke up, went to work, came home, had dinner, researched fertility monitors online and now on here waiting for DH to get in from work.
Sending you all lots of baby dust.
