Well my superglue arrived this morning so all should be ok

14th September

Second HCG injection! I'm getting pretty use to needles! I use to cringe when looking at a needle now I'm fine! OK well I'm not fine watching it being jabbed into me!

These injections seem to hurt a little more than the fragmin did OH says the needles were finer on our other injections! I jumped on the first attempt today which left a little blood mark but we got there second time!

These HCG injections are a proper pain they come in 5000IU but as I am injecting 10,000IU we need 2 packs & well HCG injections need to be mixed! 2 little bottles in each pack! You mix one with the other then the same for the second pack then the syringe to gather both mixtures & of course then change the needle as it will be blunt from mixing!

Double dosed on folic acid again, baby aspirin & B6!

The nurse advised me I may get the pregnant symptoms quite quickly with these injections which makes sense I guess only the the main one I seem to have is having my dinner & needing the bathroom shortly after! NICE!!! That’s 2 days in a row!

17th September

3rd HCG shot! They weren’t nice on the size of these needles I tell you! I really feel these thick buggers!

Starting to get really fidgety & scared maybe (?) I know I should think positive but does positive thinking exist anymore feel if I do that I’m in for a big fall! Been there done that wore the t-shirt!

Woke up this morning & dragged my boobs out of bed (yes my boobs not me) … In fact boobs? What are they? Two bloody bricks more like! I fear letting go of my bra tonight!

Monday 18th September

Well plans for my HCG shots go as normal this week:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday! Next one then due Monday 25th after a little bit of a break on the weekend only the nurse hadn't ordered enough so said 'oh it can wait til the Tuesday if we keep you on them after the U/S' well every day matters to us so today I changed my appointment from the 26th to the 25th meaning if I continue to inject the HCG I will get it on the day I should!

Getting a bit more scared an anxious now! OH was laughing at my podgy belly last night so I growled at him, he says I should get used to it I'll be way bigger over the next 8 months. My heart sinks I have no positive feelings anymore just find this option (HCG shots) is the final straw! I always snapped at him for not being positive & now he is I'm not!

I’m still taking a double dose of folic acid daily as well as baby aspirin & a B6 & last but not least those charming progesterone pessaries before going to bed.
