| You sound down honey, cheer up!
I know it's easier said than done - and to be honest - I feel like this most months.
But it will happen for you, it's just a case of when
Anyway, our babies are extra special so they take longer to make at the baby factory |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Right 6DPO for me today. Temps are looking good and my Magic 8 ball has informed me that I am pregnant That's after I asked it 3 times in order to get the answer that I wanted, but hey.......
Ok, in all seriousness, not much to report. Dunno if I mentioned it earlier, but I have a transvaginal scan booked for the 9th Sept. Really not looking forward to being probed, but I guess it has to be done.
The thing is, my period is due pretty much the same day of the scan (I have already rung the x-ray department, and apparently they will still do the scan even if I am on my period. Which grosses me out slightly, but I have been waiting for this appointment since June, so I'm not bloody cancelling it.)
All I keep thinking is, what if I don't need to have it? It would be very ironic if I got my BFP on the day of my scan wouldn't it?? I'm also due to start the CBFM trial when I get my next AF too.
What if she doesn't show up, and then I won't need to do either of these things...... [-o< Would be kind of like fate huh? That would be bloody wicked.
Trying not to get my hopes up though....
Also, really need to hide the Magic 8 ball too |

Of course I don't mind you asking!
I went to see my GP a few months back about TTC, and he referred me for the scan. I think its to check for cysts and PCOS etc. Just something to either rule out, or have to deal with in regards to TTC.
Because of our age and the fact we've only been trying for a year ( only!), he said we wouldn't be a priority for any kind of fertility treatment at the moment. But if the scan shows that there is something wrong, then we'll have more priority. Or something like that. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Haven't updated this for a couple of weeks, but obviously the came.
Of course she did. I mean, why wouldn't she, right?
I've felt really defeated about TTC since I had my transvaginal scan. I know the results could have been worse; one ovary is in the right place, the other is very close to the lateral wall of the uterus (whatever the hell THAT means - could be a sign of Endo apparently - oh yay).
Whats the point of even trying anymore? Its clearly not getting me anywhere. And I'm doing that CBFM trial thing, which now seems like a complete waste of time. I know when I ovulate. I've been using OPK's since cycle 2. But if there is something wrong with my ovary/s, then I can p*ss on as many CBFM sticks as they want - doesn't mean I'm going to get knocked up...
I know I'm going to be one of the trial subjects who is still not pregnant at the end of the 6 months....I just know it.
At least I've now got some idea of why the last year has been a complete waste of time.
Whatever. I've given my referral to the gynae consultant - I just have to wait for an appointment now.
Oh ignore me - I'm being pathetic and stupid.
Blah. |
