In 8 years we've hosted all of my OH's immediate family once (parents, plus 6 siblings + partners). When one of the BIL's (the only one we really get on with!) was leaving his goodbye was 'at least you didn't have an international incident!'. The last time we had all been together was at his house a few months previous and WWIII seemed to erupt!!! So I truly sympathise. I hope you sort it out and be friends or can come to a place where you are can comfortably and accept that you. That's where we are with his parents.

The doggy wee sounds worrying!! I have no pets so all talk of dog or cat wee worries me lol!! I hope it's a one-off. Anyway on to a better, brighter , happier future with screaming teething babies and stinky nappies!!! hun and

just wanted to say i can relate to family probs too. Its difficult stuff, but at least you have eachother and you're on the same side in this even though its his family, its hard though..

On a happier note..i think your symptoms sound very promising, missy. make us proud and get us that bfp, babe!!

Aaaah thanks girls, so may nice messages off everyone, think its making me realise its not just us that have the probs with family!!
Well the symptoms disappeared for me sunday morning so am thinking it was cystitus as it started to hurt when i weed sat evening in the end so took some cystitus stuff saturday night and i was fine when i woke sunday. Thank God.
No sign of witch turning up early , fingers crossed things are looking good although i did do a hpt on sun morning and got , am i really surprised??/ Really????Its prob too early to test though right?
Had a D.I.Y day yesterday as OH was in work and there was some stuff I had to get on with plus he woke me up at 3.30am to watch the boxing and then i couldnt get back to sleep til after 6am so was knackered all day long then. How will i cope with a
Went to look at another house yesterday and we both fell in love with it, plus its like 10k cheaper than the other one too so that will help.
Got to do my ritual Monday night cleaning tonight , in case we have any viewings , plus got someone else coming to value the house tomorrow so will get it all done when i get in from work and then can realx for rest of night with a nice glass of wine! Mon nights are like fridays for us as we have tuesdays off!! Thank God!
So yeah thats me no symptoms to report although I weighed myslef this morning and im a pound lighter! Its hysterical really as i have been eating so much junk , but it seems the more crap i eat the more weight i lose!.
So thats me on CD31, 3 days til testing but really it could mean 8 days til testing if i go by my longer cycles so we shall see...

when i first found out i was pg (after 2 years of trying!!) a very good friend of mine said "oh nice one" when i told her! i was so upset - but then i thought, well i am not going to let anyone spoil this. We have wanted this for so long that if anyone wants to ruin it then they don';t deserve to be part of it!!

anyway honey - i can't beleive you testsed and got a - but i reckon it is just too early for you to get a . have you decided when you are going to wait til - i am not sure i can wait til wednesday but i am going to really try!
oh is working tonight so am going to have something really nice for my tea - just had some chicken and pasta (don't you hate having to watch your weight!) and i felt really sick adn FULL after it! full to the point where i felt sick! it was tiny portion too! don't thnk that is a symptom though - probably just cos i ate so much over the weekend!!
Have a curry tonight - now i am thinking about it i really want one too!!

Yeah i really want a curry but ive got that damn lasagne left over and cant waste it, plus cant really afford it, we'll see i might keep the curry as my consolation prize during the week if i get another
Didnt really expect a yesterday morning to be honest it was only cos of those wierd feelings id been having and so thought id check just incase.
Cant believe you have such wierd relationship with your in laws too, you just assume its only yourself that has the wierd things going on until you speak to others. I think the problem to begin was my OH was their little boy and to start with they couldnt let go of him (not that I was trying to 'steel' him off them anyway) and so they wanted to know all our business, wanted to see us all of the time, never liked it if we did our own thing, always liked it if we did something they suggested but if we did something off our own backs, it was never the right thing and so on. Drove me mad as it was like living in a fish bowl! Like to have my own space as im an only child and im not used to HAVING to do things with others etc and me and my folks although we are really close we respect each other's space and make the effort to see each other etc but cos we want to not becuase we HAVE to. Do you get me?
Even in this row OH's just had with his folks his mums even said "well i had to accept a couple of years ago that things with you werent going to be what id expected and hoped and i dont get to see you as much as i wouldve hoped blah blah" and we were like ?? We do see you, we see them the same as we see my folks, we make the effort to go to all of the family birthdays, xmas, easter , mother's day etc and we try and have them down for dinner as much as poss and pop up there too but they moved a bit further away form us recently and so its not like just popping down the road for tea, byt the time we come home from work in the night, eat we are ready to chill out for the evening then and then come the weekends, he works most of them and so when we do get free time we are busy as we do have a life that includes, work , each other and our friends. Its like get a life and see some of your own friends and stop putting pressure on the poor guy all the time. my folks never ever do this to us. Drives us bonkers! there Rant over again!!
Anyays im gonna try leave off testing at least til the weekend I think as like I said my ticker is only based on my shortest cycle but if i do slip a few sneaky hpt's in, ill let you know!

do you know i am sat here at my pc getting all worked up!! it really bugs me - i have spent all my life saying "mums and their sons" - but it is so true. My MIL still rings him up to make sure he has done stuff - been to the docs.......got his new license for fishing...whatever it is she rings him! i am like - he is 36 get over it! and she is disgusted that i don;t do any of that for him! we have had so many arguments about it that i just ignore her now. I tell her how it is which she hates, and i actually don't care! i know that she thinks her precious little boy deserves someone much better than me (perhaps one of the Princesses!) but he loves me and that is all i care about. You will have your own family soon - and if she decides that she doesn't want to be part of that then (and this is going to sound awful) but it really is her loss. Don't let them get you down!! I am going to try so hard to be nice to whoever my son marries - even now it freaks me out and he is only 2! but i won;t put him through any of this.
ok - rant over chick! just gets me so mad!!!! sorry!!
I have added some more symptoms to my journal which you can have a sneaky peak at - but i am seriously not testing til wednesday!! (--- at myself as you know i will be testing tomorrow at the very latest!!!
