Well back in work today as off Tuesdays. Got home from work Monday evening and after a mammoth valeting session on my car (I was knackered) i got an answer phone message from the dcotors surgery asking me to call them but by then it was too late for me to call so waited til yesterday morning and rang up instead.
The other swab i had done, high vaginal one came back all clear and my bloods were back. She said they were all normal, so am oving etc and all the other things they were checking were ok
My full blood count however, showed a slightly raised level of platelets. They want me to go back and have more bloods done next month again to monitor it. As usual the receptionist didn't know what that meant and so was left pondering what it meant most of the day and googling it and messing my head up, as you do. So in the end I just rang the docs again this morning and explained i didint really want to have to wait another month not knowing what higher level of platelets meant etc and could they ask doc to give me a ring about it.
Luckily she went and aksed doc straight away and came back and said it was nothing to worry about and that its just they have to test again to just to ensure the levels arent going up or down etc and that my levels were only slightly raised and it wasn't anything to worry about at all. So there.

Just waiting for our referral for the fertility clinic and for my ultrasound. Havent got a clue how long that will be but fingers crossed we'll just catch before then anyways, im hoping. I just keep hanging on to the statistic doc said something like 84% catch in first 12 months of ttc and something like 94/96% in their first 18 months ttc, so he told us not to give up hope of natural conception and so I'm going with that theory!
So yeah feel a bit more relaxed about it all now, normal ultrasound test doesnt worry me at all but if I have to have internal with camera, won't be too pleased about that at all but so be it, all in the aid of ttc I guess.
Went to see my friend again yesterday and her 6 month old, he is so cute and really gorwn up now already. Just cant wait til it's out turn. Oh is so good with him too, babies love him and so at least I know we'll be alright when it is eventually our turn.
Well Im going to look internet surf for some cottages this avo for my bday weekend but am in work on my lonesome all avo if anyones around xxx

What are you on about 'send some positiveness my way'? it sounds brilliant over here in your journal! all your tests are ok and relieving some of you stress and worries!
My OH won't need to go for tests as we already got pg once but had MC, in fact the doc was going on about that being a very positive thing (obviously not the mc bit). but you know what men are like, it's a male pride thing and also they are massive worriers when it comes to anything to do with their 'peckers' or surrounding areas. just think about what we go through - they would never be able to go through a tinsy bit of that. So i think that major reassurance and mollycoddling is in order up to the results stage. I'm sure they'll be fine for you as well!

Ah thanks for stopping by Tansey. Im sorry im useless forgot you had the m/c yeah I guess your doc is right it is a good sign that you actually got preg, i know what youre saying about the fact that you couldnt maintain it but that could be for so many diff reasons and soesnt mean its anything wrong with 'you', i never realised how many people miscarry and then catch and have a normal pregnancy, its unbelievable. Im glad youre investigating and getting some reassurance for yourself though. If its any help my nan (from italy) had miscarriage and then went on to have 7 more kids! Oh yes! im not saying they are all normal, i mean you wanna see my old man, hes bonkers! But hes wicked! Plus wouldnt want to wish 7 kids on you either, although you could pass them round and we can all job share?? ! Im thinking positive things for you this month , i really do, age has nothing to do with it either, i promise , we gonna do it chick xxxx

Anyway, glad the results are looking good and as I've said before I'm sure you will get your little bean in the next 6 months for sure. And given that he or she will be around for a long number of years, whats another six months (!)

Am a bit peed off today, am having one of those wobbly days to be honest.

Well over the last few days I've been having symptoms I dont normally get and ive been trying to ignore everything and not start reading into things but its difficult. I get slightly sore boobs before im due but my boobs the last few days were soooo sore and felt huge, really uncomfortable and swollen. The been having twinges and crmaps right down low off and on last couple of days and i never get any of this literally til first day of period normally. My stomach has been unbelievably bloated last few days, a little bit of food really making me feel bloated and horrible, couldnt do my jeans up properly without being uncomfortable etc

Anyways because I was having these symptoms I thought ah well ive got some tests in the cupboard ill do one this morning when i first woke up.

The tests are off ebay from babymad i think and they are the 10MIu ones and they come in a foil sealed sachet but a little rectangular sachet which is flat not like a normal test from a supermarket. So on the sachet it has a picture of how to do the test and then the lines on the tests that should show but I couldnt work out how far down the test stick the second, 'test' line should appear. I got control lines on both tests but the first test I did had a pink line on the bit where another bit of test joins the stick (if that makes sense) and so I got all excited and took the joined bit off and underneath it it showed a pink line there too. So thought is that right?? So did another and then couldnt see anything on that, just the control line. Im prob not preg and I already know this but as usual got my hopes up and as usual feel like crap now. OH has gone to get me sone normal hpts from tesco today so maybe ill try one in the morning but i know its gonna be negative.

Managed to book holiday cottage for my bday this morning but nothing is cheering me up at the moment.
