I feel exactly the same way hun! i REALLY want a puppy! OH just said NO - very firmly! will work on him tonight whilst he is tired and vulnerable!!!

I found the best approach to getting a pup was " Babe if I had a little pup, it would give me something to focus on and I won't get so stressed about TTC anymore..Blah blah blah". It worked a treat
I'm sure buster would love a new playmate too

I've always been a fan of emotional blackmail!!
so plan is to
1 cook him a lovely meal - problem - not a very good cook! OH does all our cooking!!!!
2 use emotional blackmail to make him think i don;t just want a puppy i actually need one - problem - there is no problem!!!!!!!!!! going to do that tonight- will perhaps be seductress in nice underwear and then ask the question!! this also usually works - althouhg he has got wise to this tactic!!!!!

Well theres actually nothing he'll say no to, if you know we are about to ya know, get jiggy but lately hes cottoning on to the fact that I use this method quite a lot and im seeing a new assertive side to OH and he really can be assertive when he wants to be , saying that though i have got some fluffy handcuffs i was bought now, if i handcuffed him he might have to say yes, what ya think???

IM back and very happy its Friday, just cant wait to finish work and go home. We are going to have an indian take away tonight, some wine and a chill, for a change!! Really looking forward to it though, especially as OH's in work all weekend but then he's got Bank Holiday Monday off, yipee so thatlll be nice. Gonna go out for the day and take dog for a walk somewhere so thatll be nice.

As for the puppy talk, didint really go down the persuasion route in the end. We did talk about it and OH said put it this way if for whatever reason we cant get preg (really hope that doesnt happen) we are definitely gettig another dog for sure he said but think we both realise that getting another puppy now not such good idea with all the house stuff going on etc but would really like to get some compnay for Buster. We'll wait and see how things go, just think two dogs and a baby, too much to cope with really.
So yeah nice relaxing day today as boss is out of office til the afternoon and so got some peace and quiet, yipee!
Looking forward to appt with doc Tues, hopefully will be nice and relaxed by then after our long weekend off work and so wont stress about it too much. Fingers crossed they'll give us a plan of action as thats what i feel i need, cant cope with the helpless feeling of not having any control over this ttc thing. So yeah gonna be firm and really state how strongly we want this and have been more than patient waiting 11 months already so come on get me a bfp biatch!!! Only joking , it will be smoething politer than that!! But still firm!!! Hoping that going together will make them take us more seriously anyways! Thats it for ttc , havent got any updates but am watching the girls having their reflexology and acupuncture appts with anticipation as if they get good results from those treatments, think ill def consider it!! Gets to the point where i guess youll consider anything if it might help!
Ah well, better go check my girls journals xx

I've been reading up on this acupuncture and refloxology thing and it looks really good! there is a buy near me who reckons he knows by feeling something in your foot whether you are oving or not? how mad is that? i am going to seriously consider it too if people are getting successes with it!
if i don't get to come on here this weekend then good luck with your docs appointment. It will all be fine i promise. He will do some bloods - my doc only does day 21 bloods to check you are oving - but then again my friends doctor did bloods twice in the month to compare hormone levels! Please try not to worry about it too much - enjoy the weekend! apparently we are going to have sunshine this weekend! wow!!!
I know what you mean about the puppy thiung hun - can you imagine coping with a baby AND 2 dogs! you would be insane within a week!
so what are you going to do all weekend then - other than playing with Buster? i am cleaning tomorrow - joy! and then out on sunday with the girls! really looking forward to that. OH has got the kids all day on his own....I don;t think that has ever happened before! that should be fun - the house will look like a bomb has gone off when i get home!
the indian takeaway sounds fab! now i want one!!!!

No I know what you mean -you've got to be firm in this world!Take last night for instance, OH said who are you ringing, I'm ringing Gas people to put the £95 they've got of mine into my bank account as I am NOT waiting for the winter for it 'all to equal itself out' - hardly on the same scale as TTC for 11months but putting your foot down and getting what you want has got to start somewhere!

Thanks for advice on puppy - i feel myself getting impatient already but got to wait until either AF arrives or hopefully to make a decision
