have you had the day21 progesterone tests done? it is just a blood test but it might just make you relax a littel more about actually oving when you have proof that it happens every month?

I'm ok thanks.....back to work today after my two weeks off sick so i'm soooooo busy
Yep i wanna have that test dne although I HATE blood tests it would be worth it but i dont think my normal doctors will do it, i assumed i had to wait to see my fertility doc in aug....would be great if i could do it before.

my doc aint half as helpful as the hospital and gynae, that actually wanted to help me.

glad to hear you are back again hun - i know work sucks but at least it means you are well on the mend!!
Your docs can do the day 21 test hun - tell him you don't want to wait for your fertility doc. It is just a blood test after all. don't take any brush offs from him!!

Ok cool, i'll make an appointment.... it would be handy to find out after all this other stuff as i have been wondering for a while if i'm ovulating or not

at least then its another test out the way...

oooh you have a temp rise today Bird.... (im saying ooooh but im not even sure what it means ) i just always presume a temp rise is a good thing tho

I dunno what that means, i think if it stays high for three temps it means i would have ovulated yesterday....if thats true then wow i'm having a long cycle!!

or i cant rememeber but i was half asleep and think i may have moaned at OH for steeling my pillow this morning before taking my temp so if i did that would mean it would probably rise so i'll see what it is tomorrow, could just be my mistake

Oh yes, looks like a temp rise to me hun! I often move around slightly when taking my temp in bed and it never seems to have any effect so I'm sure it's a genuine rise.

the tests really do put your mind at rest chick. they are just checking for the progesterone levels which will indicate that you are actually ovulating. If you aren't then they will give you chlomid - that is what my gp told me on friday which will give your ovaries a bit of a kick up the bum. He was telling me that the pill basically switches you off, and sometimes it takes a lot longer for some women's bodies to remember what it was they were made to do. Don't panic hun - i just wish someone could've warned us about this before we went on it. I am not so sure that i would've been so quick to go on it if i'd have known.
