Another boring day on the TTC front....AF still lingering but at least it seems like a normal first AF after coming off the pill so i'm feeling lucky for that at least

I'm gonna try and be positive this month....i'm always doubting i'll ever get pregnant so i need to start being positive and hoping for the best....come on BFP

I can imagine seeing a positive test it would be so amazing to see!!

Might have to buy some opk's next month....can anyone advise a brand they use and like?

Hey hunni - looks like my cycle is close to yours ... im on CD 3. AF still lingering here too, but i think shes getting read to p*ss off now... (good rediance )

i have used the Cheapy OPKs from Ebay they are only a few quid and you can get Loads.... i do get positives with them as well.... but some of the other ladies here might recommend Clearblue - a bit more pricey, but i've heard they are pretty good. they give you a nice Smiley face when your ovulating which is sweet,

Anyway - i know the feeling (feeling like your never gonna get that BFP ) but im sure we all will - stay positive hun - i know its hard .... it will all be worth it in the end - when u have your very own bubba

anyway have some for this cycle.... this could be your month sweetie, you just never know......

Looks like my AF has p*ssed off now so i'm glad about that....on to a new month!!!

I bloody smoked last night after quitting on saturday....the will power just isnt good enough....i had 4 fags as i met up with my friend that smokes.....aaaahhhhhh

How long have you been ttc?

I was trying a few years ago and used those opks from clearblue but i dont think i did them properly, my cycles were different each month and i never got a positive and didnt wanna buy more a month as they are well expensive so i'll try the ebay ones untill my cycle stays the same as this month was 28 days, spot on but it might change next month.....hope not!!!

Its funny u said about smoking, i started smoking when i was 13. im 25 now, and i gave up on new years day this year (new years resolution). I was never a heavy smoker, more of a "social" smoker, and i just enjoyed having a fag with a drink.... i was doing SO SO well, until the other night, when i went out. so we will both have to find some will power from somewhere hun!!

Anyway - nice to see the is departing you now, so u can get on with a nice new cycle . Yeah those ebay OPKs are cheap, and i think u can start using them from CD 10 or 11 to try and catch that positive..... and a little tip for you that i read from poas.com - if you test at 11am and 3pm you are most likely to catch your LH surge.

same as me i have been smoking long and i'm 24 this year.....i have given up so much as i used to smoke 20 a day and now its just if i'm drinking or if i have the odd one with a friend.....just need to stop competely but its so hard, i dont drink often either now so that helps with not smoking as much too....just met a friend for lunch and she offered me one and i said no....feel good about that but the hard part will be saturday night when i'm having a drink at a party.....trying not to drink too much too when i do drink as i wanna boost my fertility as much as poss but at the same time i need to have some fun to not get stressed about the whole ttc thing..

at least we are cutting down loads and trying to quit....hopefully its helping

oh really...cool, i used to do them in the morning when i was last ttc 2 years ago so thats probably why i never saw anything lol

This is our 9th month of trying now, and i was on the pill.... i was taking Cilest... im wondering if its having been on the pill that is causing us to take a while to conceive, which pill was you on and for how long?? x

i was on mycrogynon for 7 years, then started having bleeding through the month last year so they changed me to cliest for 2 months and that made it worse, then marvelon for a few months and i stopped taking it last month....but i've been on the pill years as i was 16 when i started taking it... hoping thats the reason it might take a while and nothing else!!!

although i'm seeing a gynae in a few weeks as i was getting very bad pains inside during sex but since i stopped the pill its actually got a lot better. gonna go anyway i just hope its not endometrosis - dont even wanna think about that at the moment

just wanna have lots of sex and enjoy ttc!!! come on BFP's!!

Well i hope it all goes ok with the Gynae hun, keep us posted! im sure you will be fine, got my fingers crossed for you - and i bet it is just that nasty old Pill thats messed are poor bodies up!! lol

I've been taking it since i was 17, so as im 25 and your coming up 24 - its the same amount of time for both of us -
