Tansey,

Sounds great that you have CD21 test all lined up. Maybe I should do the same, especially as our charts are so very similar. I blubbed with the health nurse when I first went to ask her if I should TTC due to my age. She was really lovely to me and I felt like an idiot asking her IF I should or could. Thankfully she was older than me, otherwise I'd have felt ancient. She was nearly 50 and saw no reason why I shouldn't. She also said next time she saw me I would most likely be pregnant. Note to self: must find cushion to stuff up jumper when visiting health clinic.

Seriously though, well done to your OH for helping you out whilst you were busy blubbing. Oh the joys of being a woman!

I am loving the positivity hun. You go girl. Really glad you are having the day21 test chick - it will put your mind at rest if nothing else - and they will also be able to tell you if you have less progesterone than is normal.
Fingers crossed for a June for you - you deserve it.

Hiya Tansey! Finally caught up with your journal hun. Looks like you're getting the ball rolling with your 21day test - finger's crossed for u! I have been pondering this Progesterone thing for a while, as I get spotting like u as u know.I I looked back on my charts and saw that the months where I took the Prog. I didn't get spotting at all. I also didnt' get pg of course, but looking back at my charts we weren't bding at the right time (didn't know owt about ov back then ) So anyway, just wanted to say that the progesterone does seem to work for me in terms of lengthening the LP. Good luck with ur results hun!

You go girl!!!!
Am really very impressed by your motivation Tansey! You better send some over to my journal aswell please !!!
As for your gp appt, im very proud of you missus. Dont worry about the blubbing, im the same i only have to mention ttc in actual words and im in tears so its no surprise you got worked up, your OH is right, it is cos you bottle it up , i was so close to tears in the docs myself but luckily he was sooo nice it stopped me welling up.
Im glad youre having the day 21 bloods done, i think once you get an ok on those thats part of the worry out the way (well thats how i felt getting my results yesterday anyways). Has your OH had any tests? Only asking as OH was so worried about having his sperm test done but he said hes so glad he did it now as its just another worry we can cross off out ttc list. Hes right. I personally felt going to docs together made a difference anyway, not sure how you felt, i think they are more likely to take you seriously when youre a couple its not like they can think "god look at this neurotic wobbly woman" if youre on your own, cos they can see its something you obv feel strongly about.
Well just wanted to drop in and say well done, i know its a bit of a polava going but bey youre glad youve done it now and fingers crossed for those results, as for the positive thinking send some my way, please!! xxxx

Ah thanks for stopping by Tansey. Im sorry im useless forgot you had the m/c yeah I guess your doc is right it is a good sign that you actually got preg, i know what youre saying about the fact that you couldnt maintain it but that could be for so many diff reasons and soesnt mean its anything wrong with 'you', i never realised how many people miscarry and then catch and have a normal pregnancy, its unbelievable. Im glad youre investigating and getting some reassurance for yourself though. If its any help my nan (from italy) had miscarriage and then went on to have 7 more kids! Oh yes! im not saying they are all normal, i mean you wanna see my old man, hes bonkers! But hes wicked! Plus wouldnt want to wish 7 kids on you either, although you could pass them round and we can all job share?? ! Im thinking positive things for you this month , i really do, age has nothing to do with it either, i promise , we gonna do it chick xxxx
